Shows 1 - 300 covers Lynn (31/10/05) to Helen (10/11/06); shows 301 - 600 covers Mary (12/11/06) to whoever plays on show 600. The full list is available in my Today's Show Archive here.

I think it'd be fair if this thread was "open" until the end of the month to allow people to submit their lists. It also means that if someone plays between now and show 600 who you want to put in your top 11 for shows 301 - 600, then you will be able to edit your post and insert them in!

1.Stella-Well. Every time I saw her, I would shout out her name, I have been obsessed with the name Stella ever since. I always had a feeling she would have the game she did, because she had to. The times around Stella's appearance were memorable times, Stella was beautiful, graceful, and just looking at her inflicted smiles. To the greatest contestant EVER!!

2.Mariette- Mariette actually reminded me of a song, Funkytown by Lipps Inc. and that makes her special. She was what made me tune in on those Christmas days, and I absolutely adored her to bits.

3.Thanh- The name. The adorable way she stood there. Trying to pronounce her name. She always seemed like a dark horse. Thanh was just beyond description of awesomeness.

4.Claudine- or 'Calds' as I liked to refer her as. Just great. I always seem to like the young, coloured lady contestants, for whatever reason, Claudine was stylish, she was such a diva, and I loved her!

5.Nicky-At first I couldn't figure out if Nicky was a man or a woman, and my liking of her was mainly based on that humour (no offence). But it doesn't matter. After a while, I started shouting for her name to read out at every game, and when it did......

6.Tess- Just the most adorable contestant in time. Her voice, her hilarious anecdotes, Tess was just the absolute shizz.

7.George- My liking of George actually came from an advert, saying something like "Maa name is......Geeee-orge!!" Never seeing the advert(only being told about it), I just loved him. And I always that he would be someone to play the game seriosuly.

8.Nathan-The best hair ever on the show. And hair's a mighty important thang.

9.Juliah-Loved her the second I saw her. Loved her name, her Oriental look, and just looked forward to seeing her.

10.Gus-Ever since he did the voice-over for the LTL, this man became a legend, and remained to be

11.Dawn-She was great fun, very enthusiastic, always looked forward to her game

11th - Leanne (£26,000)
I really liked Leanne before her game, and she seemed really sweet and nice, and it was such a shame that she had the post-deal dream scenario

10th - Laura (£250,000)
Laura was one of my favourites before she won the £250,000. She seemed really nice and I was so happy when it turned out to be her that won the quarter of a million!

9th - Jean (£20,000)
A legend, definately, she kind of reminded me of my granny, she was just so cool.

8th - Charly (£20,000)
Again, someone I liked before and during their game. She had such a good attitude to the game and seemed like a generally awesome person.

7th - Bunney (£110,000)
One of the most memorable contestants ever, whether you liked him or hated him. I thought he was great, one of the reasons January 2007 was so brilliant.

The remaining six are probably my six favourite players EVER, so it's really hard to make an order, but here we go...

6th - Chantelle (£35,000)
A brilliant player who continued the run of one amazing female player a month in 2007. She was funny, and nice, and so on, and then her game...


This is getting so hard! I know who my top 3 are, so the other two are pretty much level...

5th - Siobhan (£5)
After about 10 shows of trying to figure out who she reminded me of (it turned out to be my music teacher...), I realized how cool Siobhan was, shame her game was so bad...she took it well though...

4th - Kerry (£35,000)
I LOVE KERRY. She was just so funny, everything she did made me laugh. She was great on the wings, and great in her game, and I don't think she's given enough recognition for the amazing player she was.

Okay, these are without a doubt the three best players ever, not just from games 301 - 600, but from all games. For different reasons, but the fact is, I loved the following three from the second they joined, where with others, I didn't see how cool they were for a while, and perhaps their attitude in the game influenced my opinion of them. But with these three, they were my favourites for all of their time on the wings, and in their games. Weirdly, all three did either 17 or 18 shows, they should have been kept on a LOT LONGER, as they're all legends.

3rd - Claudine (£107,031)
December 2006 was when I got into DOND again after not really watching it since March of that year, and when I started watching it, Claudine was the game I was looking forward to, just because she seemed so cool. And I was so happy that she got such a huge win, because I'd heard that someone around this time was going to win the £250,000, and I was hoping it would be her, and she got very close! Her game probably compelled me to keep watching; had she won like, £3,500 or something, I may have lost interest again....

2nd - Millie (£28,000)
Millie is SO COOL. I'd love to meet her, she's such an eccentric character, just her presence made me laugh in the 17 games she was on the wings. Then in her game, it just completely reminded me why she was so cool; with such a great attitude, a huge gamble, and a nice win. She was just soooo cool, December 06 - April 07 was the best period of Deal Or No Deal ever, and she's one of the reasons why...

So now, the best contestant EVER is....

1st - Thanh (£750)
I love Thanh I love Thanh I love Thanh. Before her game, she seemed really sweet, and I was really looking forward to her game. With her system, and her intelligence, and just...aaack, everything about her was so cool, I was really gutted she didn't get that £75,000 after her huge gamble...I wish she'd post on the forum or something, as she's 100% my favourite player ever. (::

Bunney - would be higher up on this list if he had more than one melody! A genuine entertainer from beginning to end.

Psychic Sarah - I'll forgive her for her possible role in the Wakey Winter, because it was both unclear and laced with hilarity and intrigue, and she was another fabulous standout character. Her and Bunney are the two biggest reasons I stuck with the show consistently as far as February.

Jeannie - well that was inevitable really. Kept her dignity in the face of virtually a character assassination in her game.

PJ - kept his dignity in the face of an altogether different shock, that of the final no-cash offer. I reckon that is what made Endemol wriggle out of their twist by throwing on another.

Igor - great comedy... flipping heck. The flip and the 2p deal are two of the funniest DoND moments ever.

Jean - a realistic attitude expressed in style. Has to be right up there.

Ed - there had to be a statistician on my wings didn't there? Ed was one of the best of all time, and I love how the Banker overpaid him by 2p...

Thanh - loved her way of trying to see the game in a completely different way, and certainly a unique place in the show's history.

Ned - another place for the statisticians, he was certainly good fun to boot.

Frank - one of the funniest systems of all time, great entertainment.

Jon G - liked his analytical approach with a poker twist, he certainly wasn't a flop and I'm happy to call him part of this hand of great players!

Nowhere near as good as 1-300, unless all the people since the summer break have been amazing. Jean sounds like the kind of person I'd be obsessed with, she deserves an honorary place in the list I think.

Where's Bunney, Lucy and GK?

Apart from Jean, the most memorable characters in Season 3 have been Brian (who was on the show from June - August), Ed (A statistician, he was quite funny on the wings with the Ed-Pottsy love affair thing, and in his game), Planet Joan (She was quite mad, you'd have probably liked her) and Judy (You'd have probably liked her as well)...

In many ways, Judy's koala-bear-lookalike of a husband was as good as her!

I was genuinely trying to pick them on personality!! And Planet Joan was just as sexy as 10p Joan too!

Oops, she was number 8! Actually I maybe should have picked her, but didn't want to appear too shallow!

Don't know who else I could have left out mind you....

It won't make a difference on the final result, but which Carol was this? I'm assuming it's Carol (1) in Daniel's case.

That was a hard desicion!

This was pretty much impossible, and this list probably changes weekly, if not daily (in my mind of course), but here we go anyway.
11. Georgina – She was so lovely and sweet, I loved her on the wings, and she was gorgeous in her game! And very entertaining as well.
10. Thanh (£750) – As other people have stated, she was so sweet and her system is awesome! I still don’t completely understand it, but she and her game were both, as Noel put it, “fascinating.” Thanh makes the cut for me!
9. Vicky (£2.15) – What a wonderful person she is! She was terrific on the wings, and I loved her attitude towards the game, even after it crashed.
8. Ron (£20,000) – One of 3 games on record that got me to cry. (One was Kelsie who isn’t on the list, the other is 1st place on this list). He was such a warm person, and had such a touching story, and he had a fantastic OPW.
7. Ed (£33,000.62) – He was hilarious on the wings, especially with the Pottsy-love-affair thing, and his game was entertaining and tense.
6. Jean (£20,000) – She just had to be on here. I loved what a black widow she was, and that Grim Reaper thing was great. Great game, great lady!
5. Mariette (£15,000) – What a funny, positive woman. Her smile is infectious and I loved her dancing and her game in general.
4. Tess (£6,000) – As someone else stated, she gets the award for the most adorable contestant ever. And probably the most positive; I loved how after she knocked out the biggest value she’d say she had the next biggest in her box. And she even held her smile after that OPL. She was fantastic.
3. Bunney (£110,000) – This bright-eyed and very bushy-tailed Bunney makes number 3 for me. Potentially my favorite on the wings character; I just loved all of his songs, sometimes just because they were so bad they were good. And it’s so rare for such a legend on the wings to have such an exciting game. Bunney was an unforgettable character for me.
2. Chantelle (£35,000) - I just love her to pieces! She was such a gutsy woman, and I loved the whole fashion thing; when she redressed, she looked completely gorgeous. Also to no deal on a 1p anything board takes guts, but especially against a power 5 amount. She was nearly number 1 for me but…
1. Maria (£100,000) – My mouth still drops whenever I think about her and her game. This was the other game, as I said, that made me cry when I see it. She was a lovely woman from the start, quiet but lovely. In her game, she was basically the same, until she made a huge turnaround and the courageous daredevil in her came out. And I will always remember that moment of when she won the £100,000. She and her game came completely out of nowhere, and I doubt she’ll be leaving first place for me anytime soon!
