First off, I am thoroughly displeased with this board. I am really, really hoping for the 60% disaster chance of happening now.

Because of the delays this week, I'm going to request the rest of this game/week be sped up. For instance, I want the next round to be posted by midnight tonight. That means you have less than 9 hours to make a decision. If this is unfair, I will give more time. But midnight is when the 31st week is supposed to start, so you can tell we're behind...

Finally, can someone please select the final three boxes of this round? This is the last time this needs to be done!

BANKER'S OFFER

£32,000

No Deal.

And the three highest numbered boxes in descending order.

Who's in charge for Week 31 then?

Well, to be clear, "supposed to start" just means that it's the next week already. :P

How should we decide the host of Week 31? Do we want to do a contest like thing, like whoever guesses closest to my secret number or something? Do we want to take a vote? Should it be whoever is the first to volunteer? I'm cool with anything, provided that the person who ends up being selected indeed wants to do it. :smt023

For the record, when I posed the question last week, willrelf, Archstered, and hogwild94 answered in the affirmative (at least to guest hosting in general). (American Coupon Boy also said he'd be guest banker, though who said there'd be a guest banker? ;) That's up to the guest host to decide!)

I'd deal if that was the highest offer we've seen, but I guess we'll have to see this one to the end - NO DEAL.

I answered the question you posed too. And I want that week.

The offer is above the fair deal... but I don't like this situation.

I'll NO DEAL.

Guessing closest to the secret number seems to be the best way of deciding it, but I don't mind. What I do think is that each week there should be one person as guest host, one person as guest banker and one person selecting boxes, and that these should alternate each week.

Surprised the offer isn't higher than what I dealt with the £500k staying in play. It definitely needs to go next round though.

Oh, my apologies! I read as far as "I would love to guest host but I'm back to my busy schedule again" and assumed that was a no.

I assume you're too busy for Week 31, though? :P

Round 5 results

In live play
Aaron Brock (5/6)
Archstered (5/6)
Skyline (5/6)

Dealt second offer
American Coupon Boy (2/2)

Dealt fourth offer
daniel123 (4/4)
hogwild94 (3/4)
Joel (3/4)
willrelf (4/4)

Round 6

Archstered has chosen the three highest boxes in descending order. Good luck!

20 - £6,000

Goodness me; the flash of red was pretty scary. But now it's entirely all or peanuts... with the £500,000!

18 - £100

Is it at all conceivable that in the first week to have the £500k as the top prize, it was in fact brought to the table? :eyes:

THIS IS GETTING INSANE!!!

17 - £2 :D :-D :)

We have a £500k climax!!! :-D

Ugh. Okay. That's it. I want you OUT OF HERE.

You know how the largest theoretical non-AMO offer on a traditional board is £175,000? I'm giving you an opportunity to beat that and subsequently claim the title of "largest ever dealer" for the remainder of time (barring any future special games from special guest hosts).

BANKER'S OFFER

£176,000

As for guest hosting: If you would like to guest host Week 31, please pick a number between 1 and 10. I will have random.org select one of those numbers at random, and whoever guesses closest to that will be guest host for Week 31. :)

As guest host, it is up to you whether you want a guest banker (though that is a pretty good idea). A guest box selector is also a wise choice. But that is up to the discretion of the guest host. Just remember to follow the overall format of WWYRD and you should make for a fine guest host. :)

Gutted to have missed out on £176,000, which would have been an obvious deal for me. Wouldn't be surprised if the £500k ends up being in box 10, the box I'd intended to choose after box 22 without realising.

As for the above, I'm taking my birth date and lucky number 7 please.

I think I've done just enough to stutter across the line with my £38,000, regardless of the outcome here.

I'd rather the box had £1 in it, though, and if it doesn't, I'd have hypo-swapped for the £500,000 after negotiating an offer of £602,546.29 and refusing it because I'm not a cautious cautious cautious cautious COWARD. :smt023

OH DEAR......................OH DEAR......................OH DEAR......................

I should've been a MILLION times more brave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( :(

OH DEAR......................OH DEAR......................OH DEAR......................

The 2nd offer was clearly worth a punt as the offer was less than half the average and there were 4 above it. I was STUPID not to go for it. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

Is no one else interested in picking a number for the right to be guest host of week 31?
