After that round, I can only make one offer:

Banker's offer:

£14,000

This is to keep up the theme of rewarding you lot with £1,000 for every good box found. However, I can GUARANTEE the maximum negotiable offer is at least £4,000 more than the current offer. So to get a good offer, all you lot have to do is ask yourself "How Much is Enough?". ;) P.S. There is a HUGE clue to the maximum negotiable offer in the quotations.

Naff offer... not sure if it's worth negotiating.

Some food for thought: If one of the £20,000 boxes is on the table, there's only a 1-in-4 chance of the other one staying to the end, effectively guaranteeing a £20,000 win. But if neither one is on the table, then you are guaranteed to find £20,000 in this next round.

If the two £20,000 boxes stay to the end, I'll offer £20,000 + a free hamburger at McDonalds. :smt047  After all, I am a couponer.

That second £20,000 pushes me on further. NO DEAL!

Round 6

Could this possibly be the easiest £20,000 win ever? :eyes:

2 - £10 :D

We have a £5,000 guarantee!

16 - £5,000

And now we have a £20,000 guarantee! But not only that... we are one box away from a WWYRD first where the final offer is totally unnecessary! If this final box is £100,000, it's game over and everyone this week wins £20,000. It also would make Week 20 uneventful in terms of twists since the Crazy Box would fail to do anything, but intriguing nonetheless in that everyone gets £1,000 for each week of WWYRD. ;)

On the other hand... finding one of the £20,000s would be very interesting. The Double twist can make for the largest win in WWYRD history at £200,000. The Half twist would suck. Banker's Peek/Proposal would be interesting. But the £1,000 bonus/penalty, One Box at a Time, and Nothing twists would of course be (more or less) useless. Hmmm... :eyes:

Okay. The moment we've been waiting for. Will WWYRD Week 20 be over with uniform £20,000 wins?

Unbelievable! The Crazy Box twist was a complete failure, because here is the final board!

Or, if you prefer the squashdown version:

And to thus complete the game with the proof of this incredible feat:

Congratulations on £20,000, everyone!

WOW, to hit the 1 in 231 chance of keeping both the uniform sums in the first game with a such a change is quite astonishing.  Also, thanks for ending the game early and effectively saving me 6 hamburgers. :smt023

That is incredible. Certainly helps me out as I won't be able to post on this thread until Monday as I'm away for the weekend. :)

Well you didn't do everything right, as you eliminated the £100,000 in your final pick. ;)

Well, yes, but I was always going to save Box 7 to the end, so...

The Crazy Box twist was American Coupon Boy's idea, in case people hadn't realized that. The original idea was for the £1,000 to be the only crazy amount. But then I thought that that had nothing to do with 20, so I changed it to £20,000. But then I thought, there's a fair chance we won't get to see the subsequent crazy twist if £20,000 ends up on the table, so I did what the show did around game 1,000 and replaced the £1,000 amount with a second £20,000.

I feared that having two £20,000's was going to make the twist come much too early (there was a 42% chance of seeing either £20,000 in the opening round!), and then I feared after the disastrous start that the accompanying twist wasn't going to make up for the loss of £20,000; incredibly I had no reason to fear, as you can plainly see!

On a related note, it is absolutely astonishing how the bottom 11 amounts were taken out from 14-box on! I mean, remember this was the board we had:

I think this is the biggest turn-around that WWYRD will ever see!
