I would like to request that all reactions (including the negative ones, which are the catalyst to this request) to events from the real show not be included in these threads. I do like to pretend that WWYRD is an alternate reality of DoND, sequestered from the going-ons of the real show. For instance, there will be no mention of previous £250,000 winners, as there are none.

Skyline is lying; there is a quite involved application process. The first step is a one-time payment of £1,000,000 to daniel123's savings account (which you'll do a second time once the application process is over). :eyes: ;)

That'd do me quite nicely, actually! :D

NO DEAL, for now. :smt023

Round 3

18 - 1p :D

Celebratory music blasts as two people kiss. But we're not sure which two people they are.

6 - 50p  :D

This would be an incredible time to take out the bottom three in order.

17 - £5,000 :?

Well, it could've been worse.

We are one round away from making TRICK or TREAT decisions, fyi.

With four amounts still left that are higher than the offer and the chance of proceeding one box at a time from 5-box, it's No Deal from me. Good offer though Banker, thanks.

Another great and sensible offer, hogwild94, but with the 5 box twist still to come, NO DEAL. :smt023

Yeah, it's a very good offer indeed. Another NO DEAL from here, however. :)

Dealt at third offer
KP

Round 4

Hopefully after this round is over we'll still have a game worth playing TRICK or TREAT with!

7 - £100 :)

We're going with the newbie next. Hopefully the curse of the newbie is dead!

16 - £50 :D

Even better!

hogwild94 phones in.

Yes, Mr. Banker? Ah, yes, indeed. He says KP is his best friend at the moment.

8 - £3,000

That's good! Despite the horrible opening round we had, we have balance at 8-box with a 50% chance of at least £10,000 having come to the table!

Image

Here's the proof.

TRICK or TREAT Twist:

When hogwild94 makes his offer, you of course have the choice of dealing or no dealing (except for KP who has already dealt). If you say NO DEAL, you must also make a selection between Box #1 and #2:

Image

Inside one box is TRICK; inside the other is TREAT. We will open whichever one receives the majority of the votes (deferring to Skyline, this week's box selector, in the event of a tie). If TREAT is revealed, we will progress through the final round one box at a time. If TRICK is revealed, hogwild94 gets to look inside the box brought to the table.

The results will be revealed when round 5 is posted (i.e., tomorrow), which is perfect for two reasons:
1.) That's when the twist is taking place anyway;
2.) That's the day of Halloween!

With that said, it's hogwild94 time!

And don't forget to make your box 1 or box 2 decisions!

OK, we're slowly beginning to recover. Remember, turn this down, and you will be playing TRICK or TREAT. :smt023

Banker's offer:

£10,101

It's a decent offer but after a good round I don't feel the increase is sufficient, so No Deal.

I believe Box 1 has the TREAT inside.

Well, go on, take out one or both of the top two and I'm looking at chasing those reds. That might not be possible in the event, because all four may disappear within these next two rounds - so if I proceed, I'll have to do so with great caution.

It's worth noting that we still have £500 and £750 if things do go awry, though, and both of those are still potentially life-changing for me. With caution I proceed - NO DEAL!

I'll say box number TWO with the treat, please. :)

ACB decided to be lazy and quote willrelf who wrote:

So for the twist box selection, I'll use Mally logic. :ponder:  Since Box 2 in the main game contained something bad (£50,000), it must contain something good this time around, so I'll pick Box 2.

The logic I used is that because the words are ordered TRICK or TREAT, they would be switched around for Box 1 and Box 2. :)

But alphabetically Treat comes first, so I would of course have ordered the words in reverse alphabetical order! :P

(I actually have no idea what is where. Excel is the one who did the randomizing. :) )

Just one more!
