Hello, and welcome to Week 13 of What would You Really Do?!

For those of you who have been lurking, please remember that you can join at any time. You can even join in at the final round, if it happens to be truly marvelous. The only stipulation is that you can only make a decision for the current active round. You can't retroactively decide you would've dealt the third offer had you noticed this game back then, because that's cheating. Remember, the title of this series is "What Would You Really Do?" and the rounds are structured to give you ample time to decide what you would really do.

Now, for the current schedule of guest bankers:

Guest bankers:
Week 13: Skyline
Week 14: hogwild94
Week 15: KP
Week 16: daniel123
Week 17: American Coupon Boy

If you would like to be added to this list, just let me know! (Also, letting me know what time you would prefer rounds to be posted would help tremendously in terms of coordination. :smt023 )

---

With that said, let's start the game!

This week, box 6 was randomly brought to the table. Here we go...

Round 1

Let's hope American Coupon Boy selects the right boxes to get us a finish involving the £100k or the £250k! :)

He is using Mally logic and picking the boxes holding the power 5 amounts from last game. Will his logic work out?

2 - £1,000

Good start.

4 - £1 :D

Fantastic! Let's do better.

20 - £250

Cracking start!

17 - £10

This is getting better and better. Can we take out another one of the banker's power 5 and have perhaps the strongest WWYRD opening round?

15 - £15,000 :?

Well, it's not horrible. I think I'm happy with this start!

Image

And, in case you didn't read my post at the end of Week 12, the new and improved proof!

Skyline time...

Very good round... for you guys, but not for me. So here we are, at the first offer.

You know what? I don't want any of you maggots dealing at the first offer. No sir-ee-bob. :smt018

I won't be too unfair, though.

My offer is £8,500. And a voucher for free three-meal courses for three at Pizza Express.

Can you make it a Pizza Hut gift card for those who live in the U.S.

If it's going to entice you to deal, then no.

Actually, Americans will get a free meal for one at Panda Express, and a single ticket to a Single-A baseball game.

Don't tell me that there's going to be residents of other countries playing this game too... or we'll be here all day. :smt009

Since I don't eat at Panda Express, I'll say NO DEAL for now.

STOP PHONING BACK, BANKER!!! :smt011

Judging by the time, I smell a third offer deal.

Clearly a poor board reader. Too cautious.

Uh oh... better cancel that dinner party tonight! Thanks for the nose news, player.

Skyline Edit: Yes. You have the evil power of editing and locking posts (evil, isn't it?), but I have the power too, which includes reversing any edits you have made!

So tell me, Dirty Danny Desc K... what was your original edit?

Well, I think it's a good offer for the board, especially considering it's June 10, 2006 and no-one's seen an offer higher than Aaron's £15,000 3 months ago. :ponder:

Er, it's a fairly easy NO DEAL, thank you Mr Banker!

Skyline, if the next round is all-blue, you better double the offer.

I don't stand for obnoxious, demanding players. Of course, I can always introduce personalised offers, including reduced and non-negotiable ones for the more unruly players! 8)

Hmm... very good round. Rats. This so called "Mally Logic" (what even is that anyway) seems to be working to your favour. Guys. But remember... after Mally's toilet break... we all know what happened. The game went down the toilet and he left with a comedy deal of £4.99 and a carton of Asda Smart-Price™ orange juice.

I will certainly double this offer, for everyone. In fact, I'll more than double it.

This offer is a little special to me. Whoever can guess why that is so will have another £506 added to it. Just PM me what you think this offer signifies.

My offer is: £18,494. Negotiate if you want, but only a mouse, or Josh, who was a mouse in his previous life, before being re-incarnated as a human, would deal here!
