Rounds will be posted at midnight as seems to be the norm, but (if you haven't already noticed) this week will be delayed by 24 hours due to uncontrollable circumstances.

random.org says box 20 has been brought to the table.

hogwild94 has won the right to select this week's boxes. You may either post your entire box selections here or directly to me by PM, or do it five/three boxes at a time! :smt023

At the very least, your first five boxes, please!

No pressure, hogwild94, but if you produce an all-blue opening round I will make the highest opening offer of all time in a regular game, £21,000.

Oh, by the way, I'm not sure if hogwild94 will check this within the next few hours. If he doesn't post soon, then we'll be 48 hours behind instead of 24. I blame this on myself, though; I should have had the foresight to determine who would pick the boxes 24 hours before this week's game was to start. I also should've remembered to have brought my laptop home with me. :?

Oh well. Eventually we'll get back to order!

Oh, and to further prove the point that there is no pressure, if the opening round is all all-red I'll only offer 1p both at the 1st offer AND at another offer of my choosing.

I wonder when I'll be guest banker...!

By the way, where do you screen these bankers, Saperogo? If I get an offer of 1p at the sixth offer I'll punch him.

Also, could you tell him I'll need at least £50,000 in order to deal at the first offer.

That's better.

And we're off! Time to win some big money this week--I have a feeling the £250,000 has finally been brought to the table for the first time in twelve weeks! ;)

1 - £5 :)

Great start!

4 - £100,000 :(

Well, that just canceled the great start.

8 - £20,000

Yuck.

15 - £35,000

What is it with relentless misfortune in these games?

19 - £5,000

Well, that's not that bad by itself, although with the other boxes in this round it's not great, either.

American Coupon Boy time...

(Proof.)

(Think you can be guest banker? Let me know and I'll add you to the queue!)

(hogwild94, please select your next three boxes before the next round is posted! :smt023 )

It's a good thing for you all that the £5 was discovered first and not a red, as otherwise I'd be offering 1p both now and at a future offer.  To make up for that cruel threat I made, I'll guarantee that an all-blue round will produce an offer of £20,000. However, to stop you now I am prepared to offer:

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Not one of the highest opening offers of all time, but certainly one of the most generous. By the way, the first person to tell me all 3 players in the real game who received the joint highest opening offer (excluding £500k boards) gets a risk-free negotiation. This means that person can make their one negotiation during the game without the threat of a 10% offer reduction should it get rejected.

NO DEAL, thanks, and I think the offer was £20,000 but I've forgotten all three who had it. I could even be wrong with the figure. :P

Matt, Rich, and... Steph?

NO DEAL to half of their opening offer, because I have seen this Banker in action and can have faith in future generosity.

Two out of three right (£50k Rich and £5k Matt). The first to tell me the third (including KP for fairness) gets the risk-free negotiation.

Oh, and just to make it fair, if this next round consists of any amounts which are either blue or red, daniel123 will be offered 4,444% of the mean.

Er, would it be Howard from Nov '06? :smt023

Oh, and NO DEAL. :smt023

Howard's opening offer was £18,000. Close, though. :smt023

No one got it still. I'll give you one last hint: he played in the past year.
