This week's guest banker is scheduled to be box11, but he hasn't made a post in weeks. However, you'll notice I'm posting this a day early; if box11 doesn't make an offer within this extra day, the guest banker position will instead defer to the next person on the list, Archstered. The game will resume normal schedule for the remaining days (so this first round is the only one that's off).

I'm toying with a few different ideas, none of which would be immediately implemented, but are worth discussing:

1.) A DealEye-esque bet of some sort. I'm not sure what exactly to do here as I don't necessarily want to reward only those who win the most money or make the most best decisions in a month or so, but it could be a means of getting more people to participate and/or reward those who consistently participate.

2.) I've been using an RNG to determine which boxes to open in these games. Maybe instead I should have some interaction with someone. Maybe a weekly designated "box chooser" whose job is merely to select the 3 or 5 boxes to open in each round? Their job is merely that; they and everyone else still participates in offer decisions. However, I'll have to move to making a spreadsheet for generating the boxes instead of relying on Dilan04, as I don't want to have a website open for a week (I would probably accidentally close it even with 24 hours).

3.) I missed it two weeks ago, but maybe WWYRD? games could implement twist weeks to line up with the themed weeks of the real show. I don't think the twist needs to be any more complicated than some random choice between "one box at a time" and "the banker looks in the box"; certainly I can't implement the games of skill that we've seem to have been having, and holidays courtesy of icelolly.com will not happen for obvious reasons. This will require some tweaking to fit with the "one game a week" model. If I've done the math right, 18-hour rounds would enable the bonus offers to fit, but that's assuming the game will in fact have bonus offers and not the banker looking in the box. Any better ideas?

Great round!

The board went from an obviously below average one to an average one in that round. I'd make the holding offer of £5,000 if I was Banker, and I don't see box11 offering much more than that. Since I would need five figures to consider dealing on this board and there's no way box11 would allow an offer that high right now, I'll say NO DEAL in advance.

Hm. I'm going to enforce a new rule: If an offer is not made 6 hours before the next round starts, I will make my own. So if box11 doesn't make an offer by 6 p.m. (UK time), I will make it myself. (I don't suppose the second offer is of any particular worry, though.)
