Banker's offer:

£9,561

Crikey, that was a bad round, and the Banker is starting his efforts to buy the box right away. NO DEAL, though.

16, 12, 14.

Round Two
16 - £5,000
12 - £100 . That blue was badly needed!
14 - £15,000

The banker doesn't think that round has really changed anything.

Banker's offer:

£9,561

Decision hasn't changed either, NO DEAL.

22, 20, 18.

Round Three
22 - £10,000
20 - £500
18 - £250

The banker recognises that somehow after the first round this has turned into a strong board. He was hoping another power 5 amount would have been hit by now.

Banker's offer:

£14,993

Near enough a quarter of a million left on eleven boxes. Mean's about £22,000 - there's a case either way but with the stability, and the fact that I'm not going to receive a joke offer unless the Banker goes doolally, NO DEAL.

15, 19, 21.

Round Four
15 - £100,000 . ouch!!
19 - £750
21 - £35,000 . double ouch!

Definitely a round for the banker there. This configuration does show off how the new board helps though. Instead of a standard £75k/£20k/£3k/5 blues we have £75k/£25k/£7.5k/£3k/£2k/3 blues. The banker needs to consider this when making his offer. It may seem like a bit of a drop after last time but he strongly urges you to consider:

Banker's offer:

£6,120

It could have been far worse, but I feel the configuration is safe enough for me to chase on another round. NO DEAL.

11, 13, 9.

Round Five
11 - £25,000
13 - £7,500 . not all red at this point, surely?
9 - £10 . phew!

Leaving us a 5-box of:
£5
£50

£2,000
£3,000
£75,000

As this epic game nears it's conclusion the banker very much thinks the advantage is with him.

Banker's offer:

£7,999

And that's the other round survived and that's the chase over and done with. I didn't want to take only half the mean but with no certainty over a sizeable increase on that generosity even if I hit the 40% chance of keeping £75k, it's a DEAL.

5, 3, 7.

Round Six
5: £50 . Not a good start!
3: £75,000 . Yes!
7: £3,000 . Even better!

Banker's offer would've been:

£992

A nice profit made on the box in the end, though there was more money to be won by taking one of the first three offers!

Oh, and your box contained £2,000. Not that we particularly care of course :)

It went awry in round 4 and that proved critical. However, I was right that joke offers were not forthcoming, thus allowing me to win a good sum despite bad luck.
