This guy seems to have been forgotten about, or came into the game quietly somehow.

Filling Lucy's place is certainly a tall order, and I wonder if this will affect people's views of him. Although he stood out to me because of who he replaced, he still seems a stranger to the show somehow...

I remember 2 or 3 days ago the contestant (Jim?) took a sweep of the east wing, and Richard's advice from what I heard sounded good but unfortunately was sort of lost amongst Pat's banter with Noel.

Pat (beside Richard) and Claire seem to have established themselves immediately...well, I suppose Richard will settle in over time...

I agree with everything you say. Maybe his just a quiet guy generally. But give it time, it's early days.

He's a bit like Patrick, you'll never notice him untill he sits in the hotseat.

Richard is such a great bloke, trust me the quiet man you see on TV is either nerves or the fact that he was still drunk from the previous night. He is such a laugh and up for anything and I mean anything.
He is one of lifes true gents. His true self will start to emerge as the weeks go by.
He had a lot to contend with standing next to Pat only a saint could have done that, she was truly unpredictable and a great laugh.

I know from talking to Richard he had a really hard time standing where he was. Pat was a little hard of hearing and would constantly ask Rich stuff while he's trying to concentrate on the game.

Plus it's hard to get noticed sometimes, we are told not to shout out (although many do) and most of the time your just asked in a sweep. Plus the show is edited and some things dont always get in (usually JT's dirty remarks!!! ) xxx H

Don't we just?! He'd be C&D'd again though, I think. Unless he states as a disclaimer that it is a random picture of fiction and that any likeness whatsoever to any contestant on the show is purely coincidental.........

:-D :-D

Great advice yesterday Richard ;)

Bless him though, he's like the friendly giant. He's going to look like Massimo when he's older, I can see it all now.

Was he crying yesterday? I wanted him to be crying so bad - if he wasn't just don't tell me lol
