Dont know about hair gel. All I do know is that our beautiful make up artisits (who all deserve medals because they work absolute miracles) have a habit of attacking contestants with........hair spray!!!

What make up do they use on you, Lisa?

They use anything and everything! I have never seen such a vast array of cosmetics!! Every colour and shade on the planet. The girls looked at what had been chosen for us to wear on a particular show, looked at our skin tone and then selected the right colour eyeshadows, lipsticks. glosses etc. I dont think i can name any brands because everything was such a blur but ranging from products that you can buy wherever to professional palates of eyeshadows, lip glosses etc. Their talents lay in their ability to make even the most average person look beautiful, which is why i said they derserved medals!! They worked so very hard, not only to get us ready for each show but also to touch us up (not rudely!) during breaks. If we shined, they were there in a flash!!

The guys have to have foundation, power and anti-shine (and vaseline for the lips i think) and I used to joke that Jim (from last night) looked like a wax work with his make up on!

Hi Michael.

No, we have to bring our own. It is asked that we bring around 15 different tops - bottom halves not soo important because we are only seen from waist upwards. Having said that, wardbrode do have supplies if need be. You would be amazed at the amount of work that goes on behind the scenes by the lovely wardrobe ladies - they select what you have to wear for each show but it is not just a question of that. They make sure everyone blends in together and colours/patterns etc are balanced throughout the 22. I believe they start with the 1st contestant on west wing (where David was) and then co-ordinate everyone else. I think they do a fantastic job, it can't be easy when they have 22 people to dress!!!!

I don't think Pat's wearing Hair Gel as her hair doesn't really have the "wet look". Maybe more styling wax.

Pat and I often shared the mirror and I can reveal that she used a bit of styling wax and sometimes hairspray with a slight orange tinge in it!! - Keep an eye out!
