I am doing the Race for Life again this year on Sunday 17th June in Swindon and wondered if you'd like to sponsor me?

Last year I raised a fantastic £238, which was amazing!

I am racing for those who survived, lost or are battling the big C.

If you have a spare couple of quid please do go onto my secure Race for Life sponsorship page and pledge some money... I will only do online sponsorships so that I don't have to hassle people for money after the race...

I did the race last year in just under an hour, it would have been a lot quicker but I took my dog for company and she kept getting stuck around trees , so I won't be taking her this year... She also got a medal for doing the race

All money raised goes to cancer research. The 'racers' pay the administration fee of £10 when they sign up, so none of your money will be wasted.

I did race for life last year and loved it! Wish I had done it online too as alot of people didn't pay up in the end! Grrr.

As I'll be away working on the cruise ship, run it for me too! I had so much fun last time, think I managed just under an hour too and was proud of myself for doing it in the end as I hadn't trained beforehand.

I hope you raise LOADS.... Will you be walking, running or skipping?

I'm going to be training and running it I hope - I used to do the 1500m events on sports days and once for a local event and was quite competative so I hope I haven't lost the edge! We lost our Nannie last week to her second battle with cancer, so I'm sure my family will be generous and supportive to do my best!
