Can I just start a fanclub for Mary. She was hillarious while we were there and the warm up guy kept going to her for some pure comic gems. A lot of hr iput on the show will probably be unbroadcastable as she has the dirtiest sense of humour I've ever heard.

Those of us of a certain vintage will remember Crossroads the soap set in a Midlands motel where the scenery used to wobble about and the actors were so wooden it wasn't true!
There was a cleaner/busybody called Amy Turtle, and Mary is a dead ringer for her both in looks and voice.
An absolute legend and a delightful game - pity she didn't take the gamble.

My mum was annoying me during today's show as she kept coming in and saying "She's just like Amy Turtle". I nearly missed one of the boxes during the commentary because she was distracting me by showing me pictures of Amy Turtle from Google image search.

I'm sure she'll love me for revealing that she remembers the old Crossroads, although she was quick to tell me that she never watched it much.
