Laura in newspapers and other media

Laura has made it into my local newspaper, the Gloucester Citizen, no great surprise there as she lives in Gloucester. The leader column says this: " One Gutsy Lady You've got to admire Laura Pearce from Gloucester. The 24 year old was as cool as a cucumber as she gambled her way to the jackpot prize of £250,000 on last night's addictive game show Deal Or No Deal. To echo the words of Noel Edmonds, she really is one gutsy lady. But a word of warning to the self-confessed "big spender" spend wisely!"

You're welcome Kes. In fact I've just bought the newspaper and indeed they have used the pic from the front page of Laura's box being opened to reveal £250,000. I hope they send you a nice cheque for that!

I just saw the pic in the online article! I didn't even think about them actually using it in the printed article in the newspaper

If they asked they could have had a higher resolution picture and not one optimised for the Internet :lol:

The Daily Mirror still can't get it right just like with the spoiler back in November.
They said that Laura turned down a "guaranteed offer of £44,000".
