The original Jeff

I'm not talking about "Break a leg" Jeff, but the one who played on December 17th, won about £12k with a fiver in his box and beat the banker.

I've read on the Bothers Bar commentaries that he was a clown! Does anyone remember him? Was he as wacky as current Jeff? Given when he played, he should have appeared on the wings in the More 4 summer repeats (towards the end anyway), but I don't remember him, so maybe someone who was watching early on could say if he did any funny stuff!

Yeah, he was in the More 4 repeats near the end...all I really remember is that he was Welsh, and that he had to come out and retrieve his own box after Noel put it on the floor for the break link.

He did arrive quite early on, I think he made an appearance about show 16 or something. Yes he really is a clown too. His name is Erbie the clown and I believe there may be a website.
