Khanny's shirts were great, on a par with Noel at times, It's a shame Khanny wasn't wearing a good 'un this afternoon.,

There wasn't a horrible pattern today, but the material looked a bit dodgy to me...

Noel probably insisted he wasn't called up to play until he was wearing a plain one, which is why he was there for 30 shows!

I find games when folks drop £43K really hard to enjoy because I can imagine him sitting in the hotel bar going over his decisions and really suffering. I had long chats with Marie who turned £30K into £4K and a few others who had train wrecks I know that for some folks it is really tough.

I thank God I only lost £4980 as that was the kind of amount I knew I could explain blowing to wor lass as it was well within our previously agreed limits. But £43000? No way!

Exciting wonderful TV but I am sure that afterwards he struggled to come to terms with it.

But the contestants have to remember that they don't actually lose anything... they come there with £0 in the DOND bank account, and go away with whatever they win... they may lose the opportunity to win the big money, but I think the experience of being in DOND can, in many circumstances, compensate for the loss of opportunity of the big money.

It doesnt work quite ike that - but you are close in what you say ....

DOND is very subtle to play ..... you are spot on when you say ok we arrive with nothing..... everyone will agree with that

BUT when you are offered a deal - you have more than an opportunity .... you have a decision to make about real money .... it is real .... although it is at the end of the phone..... it is real.

So you have to decide Deal the real money or NO deal in persuit of the opportunity which has moved to the end of the next round

That is why contestants who deal too late suffer so much ..... the opportunity ends when you are offered a deal ......... you have to make a real decison .....as Noel often reminds you that it is real money...... the deals are real....... what happens next is the opportunity....... do I want to turn down real money for the opportunity to discover what real money awaits me at the end of the next round...........hope you follow my drift

As for the experience ....... it is wonderful.......but does not compensate for blowing £43K as happend tonight .......... holiday memories do fade and that is what DOND is ....... a lovely break from reality

Thats the depth of the game mate!

And then when you add the relationships between the players and everyones unique personal circumstances boy do you have a rollercoaster of emotions!

Well, this is what makes DOND so special, unique and different every day - with a different circumstance, different player, different audience, different people on the wings, different banker moods, different banker's offers, etc., etc.
