She seems a nice enough lady, but her box opening style is horrific. I hope she was reprimanded for the agonisingly slow opening of them!

Hahah, I just mentioned her box opening in another thread! I like it...it adds to the drama.

I like anyone who opens their box slowly.

It does add to the tension, but Helen is taking the absolute Micheal.


David used to do it, he opened it half way, then closed it again, then opened it fast! And he nearly always had the £250,000 or the £100,000!

I loved Helen's box openings. They're slow, but it really adds to the tension. Apparently after a few months they banned slow box openings, which depending on your viewpoint is either a shame or a great idea. I think it's a shame, but then again I might have had a different view if every single contestant started doing it.

Helen was a lovely lady but just as i got to bristol we were told that you weren't allowed to open your boxes slow as the camera couldn't get the relevant "crash" shot into the amount in the box.

I was always told i was good with the boxes!

I have her game on VHS!!! Loved the way she wrote down the boxes and what was inside them!!! Does anyone do that when they watch DoND? Hmm, I do....

I seem to recall Dave that you were very quick opening the boxes. There have been several people since who have opened their boxes slowly (Patrick and Johnnie to name a couple of them).
