My uncle is friends with Darren who won 35,000 last month as he also works at gatwick airport and my uncle told us before his game aired that he won 3000, so when we actually saw his game our family was in absolute shock and told him off but he then told us that Darren said that he won 3000. So do the production team tell you to lie?

Well, you certainly can't tell the truth...

Doubt it. The player can tell whoever he / she wants.

I'm pretty sure there's a strict confidentiality agreement... whether or not it encourages telling lies I do not know.

I'd imagine a player whose partner wasn't in the dream factory for their game wouldn't be expected not to tell them how much they had won.

In fact, Noel has mentioned the spouse's reaction when the player gets home many times.
