hmm so that's weird...but at least he comes back and has a go...unlike the other two so far

Apparently he's 82 - or was when he appeared on one of the lottery gameshows last year. If he's had a birthday since then that means he's definitely older than June and probably the oldest DONDer yet.

Hiya. I spoke to Joseph the other day. He does return and will be on your screen again mid August.

Must be straight after the break then I guess, as there's apparently no shows from late July to mid August?

I expect he will play his game pretty soon after reappearing, as they won't have wanted to take the chance of the same thing happening again - plus he did a reasonable number of shows in the wings before leaving in his first spell.

A concerned Deal or No Deal viewer contacted us this week, worried about the whereabouts of one of the contestants."Jospeh has suddenly disappeared. Where is he? Is he all right? It's quite literally a mystery!"

Well, fret not, fair viewer, Joe is fine and dandy.

A DOND spokeswoman explained: "Joseph Walvish became ill around June 16. The medical decision was taken that he should take a break from filming.

He's been guaranteed a place when he's recuperated, ensuring he is in the best of health to play the game. He'll return after the summer." Phew!
