Clare from The 'Pool

Anyone else a fan of Clare of "Noel's Scouse Party" fame?

Loved her topsy-turvy game on Monday 24th April and her doing the competiton voice-over. Her Scouse accent is ace!!! Love the way she says "good luck" (the last consonant is pronounced like -ch as in loch).

I really liked her too, her game was one of the most memorable but also one of the most painful. :cry:

I liked her, but I hated the accent (even though I have a similar accent).

Her accent is really funny. I liked the way she pronounce pounds! :lol:

Yeah I liked Clare, a really down-to-earth person. I felt so sorry for her when she started crying. Her accent was great - you can't beat the Scouse accent in my opinion, mind you I'm used to it, living in the 'Pool myself. Although I have a Lancashire accent!

Why did she say on the voiceover:

That was the funniest day ever when we did the voiceovers. Me and Steve the producer kept telling her she sounded like Cilla Black and he secretly let me come into the sound booth and had her doing allsorts from "And here's our Clare with a quick reminder" To " The decision is yours".
Steve kept this going for ages untill Clare told him to F off and stop taking thi p--s. At the time we thought Steve was just one of the sound guys not infact one of the main producers. Clare being Clare got away with it and Steve found it funny but the worry when we found out who he was. One of the other endemol guys in the booth looked in absolute horror at Steve thinking he was going to go mad.
I think in the end due to various laws that they could not use the other Blind date/ Cilla references and just kept the Hi kids bit.
