I wondered who would be first to start a fan club for the Reverend Adam.

My money was on H but looks like he's been beaten to it.

Too much of a foolhardy gambler for me. I'm out.

First person to go at offer 1 or 2? Let's hope so! :D

He is rumoured to take the second offer (some are saying first offer on here to dramatise it even more but hey!), but he still rocks on the show at the moment, we can already tell even if the rumours aren't true that he won't play til the end.

He's a great guy!

I like Adam and it makes a change to have a cautious player giving advice, but presumably Endemol won't like it, and he'll end up doing a below-average show count! :(

So yes, I'm joining!

Makes a change! All we ever get is advice to deal. He just seems to be on a crusade about it.

If they've got any sense they'll have him off there ASAP. He's a one man disaster for the show.

I think his advice is quite irritating, but just because it's exactly the same every time, rather than because it's so cautious. I was just as annoyed when Philip would just tell people to carry on at every single offer (and then did nothing of the sort himself...so based on that, Adam will end up being a big gambler :? ).

Yeah I predict he will go totally Wakeyasic when he gets in the chair... either that or get offers so crap that he will have no option but to go to the end!

Yeah, he seems rather forceful too. Like "I think you really should deal" instead of "if it were me, I'd deal". It's not so much the result of the advice he gives (whether the players should deal or no deal) but it's the way he seems so adamant about it.

Well to be honest he has set himself up to be completely at the mercy of the Banker.

There will be no wondering what angle he's coming from. If his board is bad he's fair game to be forced on with poor offers and if his board is good the Banker will know that he's so cautious an insulting offer (for the board) will get him out of there.

If I was a cautious 'dealer' type I'd either shut-up on the wings or at least pretend I was a 'no-dealer' type.

I might be wrong but I'd be amazed if he got anything decent out of the game.

same here. But im not, so i'm kind of hoping he deals at offer 2 and then has the worst proveout game ever.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

hi, guys... this is adam (currently on the show)

cheers steven for those comments, and the changing room was not the same when you left.

just wanted to respond to peoples comments by saying that the only reason i come accross very cautious is because i dont want to see people who i became friends with walk away with nothing.

too many people need the money more than taking the gamble but when you are in the deal or no deal environment you can end up getting caught up in the frenzie that is to win £250,000. i never planned on saying much but when i could see people were in a pickle i though i would give some advice they would want to hear, but maybe it has come accross in the wrong way.

there are many times when i have encouraged people to gamble, but it seems that they have not shown it..... but im a gambler at heart.

thanks for the support!!!!

As I've already posted in another thread, I cannot wait for your game, regardless of the outcome!

I'm so in!

they probably didnt show it becxause almost everyone else[or so it seems on the shut/cut final airing of the shows] was using the "go for it, the £250k is in your box, you just have to believe it" crappy approach. So obviously they need someone to counteract that

In which case, it'll almost definitely make his game well worth watching!

Now stop talking about his game please - it's still ages away :(
