Rita's game today.

Noel's found a new pair of curtains to raid for his shirt!! :-D

Noel talks about the rivalry between the 2 wings at the moment, and has a bit banter with Lynn.

Haha! Yet another Essex player - having had about 3 in the whole of 2006, we've had about 6 in the past month!

The 444th game! Make the most of it for goodness sake! (4 probably has £250,000 today... :-D )

How was the ideal time to chuck in a £40,000 label on the LTL... and they blew it. Fools.

Rita has box 14 today. Rita is very excited about playing, and Noel introduces us to Rita's husband in the audience. We learn that Rita used to be a PA in an import/export business. She tells us a story about how she once modelled for clothes, and was offered a modelling contract, but refused because she was with her soon to be husband at the time. She shows us some of her piccies.

Rita has a list of numbers that she pulled out of a hat to use. Noel tells us that today's show is the 444th, and says we will pay attention to Jenine today who has box 4 :?

Here we go...

Derek would be awesome as a children's story narrator - I think he'd suit Janet and John very well - maybe Terry Wogan can hire him for his listeners' Janet and John (Marsh) stories!

When did the newbie last have the £250k?

Paul with box 22 next, but Noel does something new first, and goes to the pundit panel. He goes to a member of the audience to make a prediction, they say the next box will be a blue and be £1.....

The last newbie to have the £250k was Roy, who's on his 20th (?) show today.

I thought that's what was going to happen... maybe she'll get £1 if she's right - she should've said she thinks it's a high number!

Thanks Lewis for the newbie stat.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.
