This 'blue' chanting is really getting on my tits now. The current batch say it almost at every box and what's the point!? It's not gonna change what's in the box.

When there is a negative atmosphere it always seems to help lift it, which is why it is said normally, to stop everyone getting so negative after a big hit...

Yes, I'm not too keen on it either, but I think when you're in the studio, it probably does add greatly to the atmosphere.

Someone should work out the first game it happened.

Seems to go in cycles...started around May/June ish, but stopped. Then it returned in September/October (which were recorded in May/June) and got a little silly, as they'd did it in practically every episode for weeks, then it calmed down again. It seems to be coming back a little now, but as long as they don't go too nuts and start doing it in round 1, I won't mind.

Whats in the box is in the box..... but without the audience we would get bored with the silence.....

I think it was £1 Raj's, in his final round. (And it did him a fat lot of good...)

I like it only happening in crucial rounds, like Jenny's round 5 and I even found myself doing it!

This is great! It creates a really good atmosphere and gets everyone to think positive, I know it dosen't change the amount in the box

I'd really like to hear them chant "Red, red, red..." after a deal. :D

I remember Geordie saying that what used to make him cringe was when a contestant said, "I'm sure I've got a blue in here" as they're opening their box... only to reveal a red.

It seems to guarantee a red whenever they do it!

I can understand it when they do it when the contestant is having a bad round or has a bad board - but Lucy has a good board! :?

I'm sorry, but this blue chanting is getting a little bit silly, now...

I don't think it adds anything to the atmosphere... They're doing it now!!

The silence before a box opens adds more to the atmosphere! Its just annoying :x ;)

I was watching Trevor 1p's game on YouTube earlier on (well, the last 7 munutes of it, anyway), and I have to say (ok, ok, that was a bit different as that was a very sad game at the end) that having silence as the boxes are opened is a lot more dramatic than all this chanting! :(
