Are you sure, Rhian? I thought it said Teresa on her name badge. Oh well, I'd better keep my eyes peeled tomorrow.

I'm sure - the list of players on "How long has each player been on" thread corroborates my belief :-D

Sorry, David!

I missed Becca's show... but reading the update, it looks like I would have been proud of Carlton's performance today ... 8)

Really? Okay then, I blame Daniel :-D

I swear it said Theresa at some point, because I didn't even know that was a spelling of Theresa! I taped last week's games, I'm going to check...

Time for Friday's instalment of the thing that's taking dond.co.uk by storm. Yes, that's right, it's HugWatch!!! Take it away!!! :-D

(Improvise some kind of tune) Every one needs a hug once in a while, a hug can do wonders! (Insert one of those traiangle instrument things!)When your feeling down a hug is all you need. So hug hug hug until your arms drop off...

Give me an H! H!
Give me a U! U!
Give me a G! G!
Give me a W! W!
Give me an A! A!
Give me a T! T!
Give me a C! C!
Give me an H! H!

What does that spell? HugWatch!

It was Peter's game today and at the beginning of the show, we were treated to his Speedy Wheeling!!! Wheely good!!!

Anyway, to the end after the LTL. Carlton was the first to come to The Pound Table and give Peter a hug. Because of the specially made ramps for the Wicked Wheeler, Carlton had to climb up the ramp before just pipping Scott to the title of HugWatch King and these chappies keep dominating the HugWatch Stakes:

Monday 5th June 2006 - Carlton
Tuesday 6th June 2006 - Carlton
Wednesday 7th June 2006 - Scott
Thursday 8th June 2006 - Carlton
Friday 9th June 2006 - Carlton

Now that Peter has played his game, whoever takes his place at the end of the West Wing will surely rival Carlton and Scott in the Hug Race. Will we ever see Louise's Super Sprinting tomorrow like we did last Saturday? Will the new West Winger be a serious rival to the current Kings of HugWatch. Find out in Saturday's edition of HugWatch....

(Piano)
Who will be the first to embrace?
Who will win the mighty race?
East or West?
Who's the best?
Teresa or Jo?
Soon you'll know!
Richard or Louise?
Ooh who will really please?
Will Peter rush to congratulate
Or will he commiserate?
(Fading piano)

HugWatch ohh yey!

It was very tight today, Carlton slowed down towards the end and nearly got punished for it, but he still won. :-D

Time for Saturday's instalment of HugWatch!!! :P

Give me an H! H!

Give me a C! C!
Give me an H! H!

What does that spell? HugWatch!

Well, the removal of the ramp installed for Peter's game had been removed for today's show but this made no difference to the outcome of the HugWatch Stakes.

Yet again, it was almost too close to call but Carlton beat Scott to be the first to give Joan a well-needed hug following her disappointing win of just 10p. At the moment, it looks like Mark isn't sprinting well enough to end the Carlton-Scott domination but he may do soon. Sadly, Luscious Louise didn't make today Speedy Sprinting Saturday. Oh well, she might tomorrow. With all this week's reports in mind, there won't be any prizes for guessing what the HugWatch leader board looks like but here it is:

Monday 5th June 2006 - Carlton
Tuesday 6th June 2006 - Carlton
Wednesday 7th June 2006 - Scott
Thursday 8th June 2006 - Carlton
Friday 9th June 2006 - Carlton
Saturday 10th June 2006 - Carlton

So, this week's overall King of HugWatch is Carlton but will Mark, Louise, Bianca or anyone else beat Carlton and Scott in the Hug Race? Find out in the first ever Sunday edition of HugWatch....

(Piano)
Who will be the first to embrace?
Who will win the mighty race?
East or West?
Who's the best?
Teresa or Jo?
Soon you'll know!
Richard or Louise?
Ooh who will really please?
Will Ron rush to congratulate
Or will he commiserate?
(Fading piano)

HugWatch ohh yey!

After being beaten by Carlton three times in a row, Scott was determined to win the Hug Race and therefore be Sunday's King of HugWatch. His goal was duly reached and he was closely followed by Mark, who only shook Richard's hand and leant his hand on Richard's left arm, so Debbie was the second to embrace and the rest of the gang piled in thick and fast to hug, kiss or shake hands.

Don't worry, a leader board will come soon!!! Will Scott win the Hug Race on either of Monday's shows? Will Mark be in a hugging mood? Find out the answers to these questions and more in Monday's HugWatch double-bill starting a week of two helpings of HugWatch a day, so stay tuned to this thread....

The song has got to change again now Richard has played!

Well, nice to see Mark a new face getting in on the action, albeit just a handshake.

Predictions for the week ahead - domination by Scott as I expect Carlton will play soon!!

:-)

Scott's game can't be far off either, so it will be left to a new generation of HugWatch stars soon!

You're right, I've just read his thread in the contestants forum and it looks like he probably plays Mon Tue or Wed.

Any other predictions?
