YEAH that WOULD be great, I guess we might see some out takes with Denis Norden one of these days.

When I was doing countdown, Carol was at the numbers board when it fell off, and was swinging from one corner, we allcorpsed, and Denis Norden was actually in dictionary corner, so I told him to get that on his out-takes show. :-D :-D

Yeh, I agree Pennie. I would suggest contacting Endemol, but I doubt they'd release the unedited versionto anyone, not even you. There is one way around it - become the Editor of DOND! :D :-D

How long does a show take to film?

When you cut out the ad breaks, the broadcast version is only about 35 minutes of actual showtime

Yes, they do. It's a shame really, but each episode of DOND couldn't really last nearly two hours when it's broadcast!

Can't we have an adult and uncensored version of each contestant's DOND programme that can only be shown on Channel 4 after 10pm?

That's right but not all of that time is spent with the cameras rolling. There's time out to mike up the player and supporter, make up breaks etc.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Have breaks in filming when they have on-screen breaks, I assume. I think they do have breaks in filming, corresponding to when they have breaks on-screen, as Noel often makes reference to what happened during the break. I could be wrong, though...

I hate to dissapoint you all, but all the time I was there I can't remember anyone swearing, not even me! oh, except Mel and she said crap, and got a telling off from Noel. I mean come on,crap, how mediocre is that :!:
Most shows took around 2 to 2 1/2 hours to record. We were all really well behaved in the studios, but in the hotel later is another story ;)
