What about anyone who doesn't make the final run-off in one month remains eligible for the next one?

For example, say Den just edges out Lynn, Savvas and Jeff (to suggest a few possible contenders) in the May vote, then Den would get to take on Joseph for the all-time W10 position - but the others who didn't get through could still be nominated alongside the June contestants the following month.

Back in April we voted for our all-time favourite 22, by selecting a winner for each wing position from all those who have stood there. But of course there have been many more great contestants since then. So are they still our favourites, or do a few of the more recent ones deserve to take their place in our all-time line-up?

A poll for each position will take place again, which will include each contestant who has stood there since April (including the one who was waiting to play at the time of the original poll, as they didn't really have a fair chance!) Then the winner of each one will take on the existing holder of the position in a "challenge" match - winner of that takes/keeps their place in our line-up!

Ones I'd replace in the line up who have played since April:

Sarah (W2)
Ed (W4)
Norman (W5)
Possibly Derek over Harry, but really can't decide (W6)!
Charly (W9)
Den (W10)
Little Rich (W11) (or anyone else apart from Bunney for that matter)

Siobhan (E10)
Brian (E11)

Some I can't see being rivalled at all like Lance, Pat M and Mad Sarah!

I suggested this back in July - but good thinking to leave it til now!

I have plenty of ideas!

This should be really interesting. I remember there were a few then-current contestants I was thinking about at the time of the last poll, I almost voted Den for W10 but went for Andy K, and actually did vote Lynn for E10, even though both her and Den had done a total of three shows at the time!

I know Brian's definitely getting my E11 vote, he's one of my favourite contestants in the show's history. Ed seems a shoo-in as well, for the others we'll have to see!

I'm sure Billy will back me up here, but I'm pushing for a Vicky/Siobhan/Brian line-up - I know that would appear fixed as they were all on the show at the same time, but you will never find a line-up of three people that great standing together!!!

It will also be interesting to see whether we get a disproportionate amount of "recent" contestants in our new line-up, because people want a change, or alternatively if we see little change because people can't bring themselves to "vote out" the old favourites from the first 18 months of the show!

Anyway, here's my assessment of the chances of each of the current line-up being replaced. Feel free to prove me wrong everyone!

Lance - very unlikely
Pat G - 50-50
Jeff - unlikely
Howard - very possible
Ron - 50-50
Harry - unlikely, though lots of good recent candidates
Margaret - possible, though there never seem to be many who really stand out in this position!
Julian - At least 50-50, can see one very strong contender
Saj - 50-50
Joseph - very possible
Bunney - fairly unlikely, though the Anti-Bunney Brigade may stand a chance with just one opponent!

Lucy - very unlikely
Pat M - very unlikely
Giorgio - 50-50
June - unlikely
JT - possible, could depend on current occupier of that position in his remaining shows!
Jim R - 50-50, like Bunney he's a "love or hate" character, not sure who will challenge him but they will have a chance. Even without Wakey trying to fix it.
Mad Sarah - extremely unlikely
Stuart (VENTRESS!) - unlikely
Pennie - unlikely
Cheeseman - very possible, some good challengers in that position.
Stevie - 50-50, there's at least three very strong challengers, one of them still to play.

As a prediction, I'll guess that there will be 7 new faces in our all-time line-up at the end of this update.
