HEAT 1 - MARCH 2009

What a month it's been for DOND. We've seen Alice become the 2nd £250,000 winner, Colin & Dirk both joined the 1p club, the build-up to the 1000th show and the forum's very own h2005 chucking bananas around the studio.

It's now time though to place your vote for the show which you feel deserves to win the show of the month accolade.

As always there are 3 heats, with a total of 27 shows to vote for, and the top 3 from each heat will make it to the final where the winner will be decided.

You have 5 days to place your vote. Voting will close Sunday 5th April at approximately 5pm.

973 - Jackie 01/03 - £12,500
Jackie dealt at 5-box after being offered £12,500. At 2-box Jackie was left with £1 & £20,000 in play and would have been offered £6,000 at that stage. Jackie’s box contained £1.

974 - Den 02/03 - £12,000
Den’s offer of £12,000 was a deal for him at 5-box, but with £1 & £50,000 still remaining at 2-box the Banker decided to offer him the Banker’s Gamble. Den decided to no deal the choice of a gamble, but had he accepted it could have won £50,000 as his box contained the high red.

975 - Hannah 03/03 - £11,176
After previously no dealing £14,176 at the end of the fourth round, Hannah, decides that her fifth round offer of £11,176 was a wise time to deal. Had she played on she would have been left with a minimum guaranteed win of £15,000 with both that & £20,000 remaining to the end. £15,000 was in Hannah’s box.

976 - Rich 04/03 - £10,000
Rich dealt his first 5-figure offer of the game at 5-box after being offered £10,000. However, with the £100,000 still remaining at 2-box the Banker would have offered Rich £31,000. Rich’s box though contained just £100.

977 - Patricia 05/03 - £23,500
A tense fifth round from Patricia, managing to avoid the only remaining red - £100,000 - was rewarded with an offer of £23,500 at 2-box, by far Patricia’s largest offer of the game. Patricia dealt the offer, but her box contained the £100,000.

978 - Johnny 06/03 - £20,000
After being offered £20,000 again at 5-box, Johnny, decided the time was right to deal - and it was. As just £10 & £10,000 were left at 2-box. Johnny’s box contained £10,000.

979 - Claire 08/03 - £35,000
A big loss for the Banker today after Claire won £35,000. Having declined the final offer of £16,000 Claire swapped her original box, which was revealed later to contain only £3,000, and in turn brought the £35,000 to the table instead.

980 - Dermot 09/03 - £1
The red winning streak came to an end today with Dermot when he ended up winning just £1 from his box. Having previously declined an offer of £15,141.30 at 5-box.

981 - George 10/03 - £250
A highly unlucky game for George. After an opening offer of £10,000 his game just crashed along with his offers. George narrowly missed the 1p club at the end though by swapping his original box and instead won £250.

My vote goes to Claire in this heat.

I'm not sure I can vote at all in this, I've genuinely no idea!

For me, Patricia's was the most tense, so that's what I went with.

I decided to vote for whichever of Claire's and Patricia's games had the fewest votes, but they had the same - so I plumped for Claire's.

Of the ones I saw, Patricia gets the vote from the Duffer jury.

Of course, Claire's game did feature the immortal line, "Yes. That is the whole point of the game. Removing the low blues." Spoken by some wise sage or other.
