HEAT 3
JANUARY 2009

In this heat there are 9 games to choose from. The top 3 shows from this heat will go into the final where the overall winner will be decided.

5 days to vote.

940 - Bobbie 21/01 - £21,500
In a near identical finish to Carl’s game, this time 10p/£100,000, the Banker offered Bobbie the same offer, £21,500, which she dealt. Unlike Carl though Bobbie’s box only contained 10p.

941 - Trev 22/01 - £15,500
Trev dealt £15,500, but with a final two consisting of £1,000/£50,000 the Banker decided to offer Trev the Banker's Gamble. Trev no dealt the gamble, but his box contained £50,000.

942 - Debbie 23//01 - £28,000
Debbie had the 3 lowest Power 5 amounts remaining at 5-box and got offered £28,000, which she dealt. A good deal as Debbie’s next offer was just £14,000 and she only had £1,000 in her box.

943 - Carol 25/01 - £9,000
Carol decided to deal at 5-box. Which was just as well as she then went on to have an all red round and would have been left with a blue finish. Her box contained just £250.

944 - Steve 26/01 - 50p
Steve was left with just 50p/£250 after revealing £75,000 in his last box to open. Steve ended up winning just 50p from his box.

945 - Ann 27/01 - £35,000
Ann had plenty of self-believe and believed that it was “her day”. Obviously it was her day to win £35,000 as it was revealed to be in her box.

946 - Ade 28/01 - £17,500
£750/£75,000 was Ade’s 2-box finish and an offer of £17,500 proved to be enough to make Ade deal. £75,000 was in his box.

947 - Michael 29/01 - £8,800
Michael dealt £8,800 offer at 8-box, but at 2-box the Banker decided it was a good opportunity to use the Banker’s Gamble. After some consideration Michael no dealt the gamble and it was revealed he only had 50p in his box and not £100,000.

948 - Ty 30/01 - £4,500
For the final game of the month Ty dealt £4,500 at 2-box, after previously no dealing it the round before. Ty only had £100 in her box though and not the £20,000.

Ade. There were some other very good shows too though, such as Carol's and Bobbie's.

Bobbie's, purely because of her unexpected gambling tendencies, and it also contained my favourite Walter moment to date

Debbie for me. I can't vote for Ann as the result was good but the methodology was not one I can relate to.

I chose Ann's game. I didn't expect her to gamble all the way to the end.

Ann for me. That game blew me away.

This I can see being the closest of the heats. They are all fairly decent games.

Bit tricky this one as Ann's was excellent and Ade's, Bobbie's even Trev's were also good but I went for Debbie as I like that kind of 5 box OPW.

Debbie for me.

Ade, Ann, Bobbie and Michael all get a mention though as I thoroughly enjoyed all their games.

Ann for this one. Loved the way she kept her self belief. Ade was one of my favourites on the wings but I prefered Ann's game.

Debbie. How is Ann winning this heat? Are we all that obsessed with Wakeyism here? The only tension all game was from the boxes!!

I voted for Trev's game as it had very good offers and his final offer was one of the best uses of the Banker's Gamble.
