HEAT 1 - DECEMBER 2008

For the last time this year it's voting time for the Show of the Month. Which show out of heat 1 will get your vote into the final?

Jane got herself an OPW with an £11,000 deal at 5-box; John dealt for £12,000 despite the Banker tempting John with the promise of a £30,000 offer if he had an all blue round, which John did go on to have; Tina ended up with just £250 from her box; Joel dealt £3,750 and avoided winning £500 from his box; Lisa got herself £3,000 from her box, had she swapped for the remaining box though she would have got £10,000.

Jackie dealt £3,600 but after a hypothetical swap missed out £10,000; Rich dealt £6,000 at 2-box but missed out on an additional £9,000 as his box contained £15,000; Jean dealt for £15,000 despite a relatively strong board, however it turned out to be the right thing to do and she got an OPW; Ryan took an offer for £23,000 at 5-box but missed out on a 2-box offer of £90,000 as the £250,000 was still in play, Ryan's box contained £20,000.

5 days to vote and the top 3 shows from this heat will go into the final to decide the overall winner.

Has to be Lisa.

Lisa for me too. It was an unexpected game to say the least, never mind a gambler hidden inside a giggling facade of a character!

Lisa. But I'm afraid I don't think any of these will have a chance in the final...

I went for Ryan in the end, followed by Lisa in 2nd.

I went for Jackie due to the unexpected excitmenet she caused by no-dealing with 250k in-play at 5-box, even though it went first box afterwards. Doesn;t really matter becuase, to be honest, the start of the monrh was a bit rubbish compared to what happened later!!

I went for Jane for the unexciting reason that it was the only OPW in this heat,
but let's be honest I don't think anyone from this heat will win show of the month!

I literally don't remember a single one of these games from looking at the list of the top. I think I may finally have got completely bored of DOND...

Gone for Jane as she gave me an OPW game to watch on my birthday.
