Jessica and Little Linda in the audience!

I remember that it felt weird that although it was 2006 it was still 2005 in DONDland. Little did I know that eventually they'd be recording November shows in June...

Jim (1) was next to Jessica as well...and I recognised Linda's mum sitting next to her.

That was awesome! The perfect game, and hilarious too...also good to see more of the January 2006 wing line-up which is probably the least familiar to me as it was just before I started watching, and after the More 4 repeats.

Ah, yeah, noticed that afterwards.

More4 didn't start the repeats until Jenna's game so this is actually the first ever repeat showing for Dave's, great to see it again - I remember that because he posted on Bother's Bar a lot before the game, and indeed was the first ever contestant to post here, it made me even more hopeful that his game would go well, and it did! I know it's extremely belated but well done, Dave!

That was totally awesome! And now I've seen that, Dave's not just the best male in E2, but I even think he's better than Pat M. Yes, really. I was in stitches for the complete duration of that episode, especially with the bit about Cameron Diaz, and the squeaky "Ee, what ya doin', you could win 10p....and that's just me dad!" comment! :D

I was hoping to see Geordie in the audience too, but I guess they didn't have who was going to appear in the very next game there though!

If he hadn't left out box 9, it would have been a total trainwreck - the last 8 would have been 50k, 15k, 5k and 5 blues, and he'd have taken out the top 2 in the next round, leaving 5k and 4 blues!!

Who isn't?

The music at the first 2 calls was differnet, the vibes were in the call, then the Banker with Heartbeat was after the phone dropped

Hang on...does anyone have a copy of this episode from the original showing? Was just looking at the Bother's Bar commentary and they say that at the second break, there was a continuity error meaning that the board as of the first break was displayed, but looking at it today both shots are different:

Did they re-edit it for today's showing to fix the continuity error? Wouldn't be the first time, when Lance got the Classic treatment they edited in the 'DEAL: £87,000' graphic which was never there in the original showing, as seen here (I was sad enough to get it the exact frame both times):

Bugger just got in and missed the repeat of Dave's Show thanks to a VCR cock up.

I moved up to the back to watch that show and howled laughing

If ever a show didnt need to be edited for transmission this was the one.

Oh *beep*! When I made the DVDs last year, I used to cut off at the point before the voiceover started. Forgot about that, sorry.

The other lucky thing about that game was that the banker wasn't offering early/mid game swaps, othwerwise I'm sure Dave would have swapped 21 for 20, and kept 9 till the very end (and picked 21 as part of the sequence) - therefore he would have had the same last 5 boxes and the same offer, but he would have avoided the quarter-milllion in the proveout and been offered something like £100k....only to find £100 in his swapped box (but still a massive TBW!) :)

in relation to that continuity error...yeah the original did have a repeat shot at the second break and it was indeed fixed today...interesting..

They still left in that big cock up though when I was talking about how people in the E1/E2 corner have good luck and Noel then says "Thats good news for you Gerry"......who was in W1...strange!

Funny thing is, i cannot remember how the original filming of that actually went so dunno why there was a crossover error
