That is actually quite a good TPW - just wish he'd picked Kascey earlier - still selling a box for 29 grand more than its worth is quite impressive!

Well done Jeff :o If you'd still been in play after £30,000, those offers obviously wouldn't have been so high, so you did a very good deal. Well played :D

I will freely admit I was surprised Jeff dealt with the board that he had.

But I for one am not going to criticise him for it. He dealt for a lot of money, as he didn't want to risk losing it. And I respect him for that. Well done Jeff.

Well done Jeff. £30,000 is a lot of money. The deal was justifiable as Kev's board was slightly better and he crashed. And it did remind me of Khanny's board. The board was strong but the hole in the middle was scary. I'm not sure what I'd have done there as Kev's game might have influenced me.

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I can earn another in a decently quick amount of time.

Seriously I personally would have higher ambitions but I just think based on the board he had there was definatly one more in it and taking 30k just seemed like a bad time to deal.

And Jeff personally didn't. Doesn't make his deal "wimpish" - just his financial comfort zone is different to yours!

.

People should stop complaining - the 5th offer was inflated. There wasn't much more in the game and he's the biggest winner with £1,000 at the table!

Maybe, but he could have certainly gone at least one more time with a board like that the majority also felt this too.

And yes I too felt the proveout offers were a load of *beep* totally over inflated.

Not if £30k was what he wanted. I personally would have dealt there too. I wouldn't have risked that much money, no matter how large the potential gain would be. The chance was still there to lose it if the £250k went.

I guess it depends what your needs are but personally if I was playing I would be more focused on the top 2 than anything since I'd need at least the 100k to do my ambitions. I am not greedy its just realistically what I would need.

I just think despite his target he shoulda realised he had the ideal potential to gain more than 30k sure theres always a risk but the odds were well in his favour.
