Yet another great board, like every game in the last week - who will be the unfortunate player in the chair when this run of luck ends?

If Pete had no-dealt the £20k, I'm sure the Banker would have punished him for losing the quarter-million, and at best would have stuck on the next offer.

Hmm I didn't really get into today's show. I don't know why...nothing against Pete, but maybe it was because I didn't really notice him that much when he was opening boxes :? But anyway a nice amount of money for the family. Hope he enjoys it. :-D

I really don't think that penultimate offer would have been as high as £26,000 (or whatever it was) - it would probably have been around £20,000 again, and seeing as he'd just taken out the £250,000 I think it'd have gone down a bit.

So Pete did a pretty great deal! I was hoping he would carry on...but it looks like I was wrong again. Well done Pete!

I was really pleased for Pete today, he stuck to his guns and went when he wanted rather than please the audience. Well done,£20,000 not to be sniffed at! :D

Lol! The accent wasn't far off! ;)

I was glad Pete did so well. I thought he had a great game and seemed a really nice chap. A fellow South Yorkshireman too. :)

Well done, Pete!

:D

the banker took the comment from Pete a bit personal didn't he! Reckon the offer would have been higher too if not for the comment.

I don't believe for one minute that the next offer would have gone up to 26 and a half grand after he took out the 250,000 had he played on.

Perhaps I was a bit hasty with my comments to the banker, it really wasn't meant in a nasty way, but I think they look for any excuse to give a lower offer.
I thought the 20k offer was on the low side, and I agree, I think the next offer would have been lower than 26.5k had I gone on.

I was very happy with the 20k, my aim was anything over 10k so I was well sorted.

Sorry I didn't do it for you Vixen, I dont think I look anything like Sean Bean, although I can see where you come from about the accent.

Thanks for your comments, and I hope I didn't dissapoint too many people.

Pete x

At the end of the day you played YOUR game the way YOU felt it needed to be played !! As you say - you got double what you decided was your exit offer and thats fabulous ! I'm sure its a very difficult place to sit and still think clearly but you did a great job, I just wish that offer had been slightly higher for you . I agree that although the prove-out offers have been slightly more materialistic of late, I also think you would have been offered less if you had played to the next deal.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could see into the future whilst sat in that chair ? Knowing when the best deal would be ?? Yeah - I know, I live in a dreamworld !! ha ha ha
