Very canny move by the Banker to push the student debts into the front of her mind and is probably what made her deal! But after that round the offer's going to double.

Round 6 Stats
Boxes left: 2
Mean: £37,500.05
Offer: £30,000
Offer (%): 80.00%
Fair Deal: £18,793.33
Volatility: 750,000.00

Don't swap the boxes - bad either way!

And don't clap, she would have swapped (But she sold 10p for 16.5k)

Hypothetical swap for you. It would have been great to see an amazing in play swap, given she didn't deal at £30,000.

It's nearly double what you took says Noel, and he then asks if Jackie would have been offered the SWAP would she have taken, she replies she would have, but Noel DOESN'T perform the hypothetical swap :D

Noel opens box 9 and reveals 10p

Box 6 contains the £75,000

How can he offer 30,000 when there's only 75,000 on the board, and Charlie got 32,000 with 100,000 on the board.

The banker shows too much favourtism with his offers, and everyone should have the same offers.

Oh well, PJ was right after all!!

And I suppose Donna (2) was offered £30k on that same pair in active play, so it's not completely unbelievable I suppose. At least it didn't quite push it into TBW territory, he could easily have offered something like £35k there! :)

Well, Mad Paul got £32,000 with £1 and £75,000 and Donna got £30,000 with a blue and £75,000...

Have fun with £16,500, shouldn't have said you would have swapped because it's either bad or bad... :?

Shame about losing the £75,000.

Makes it pointless of having a box containing £100,000 then. The only time you benefit from it is if you open it at then end and win it because it doesn't make any difference to your offer.

Aww I really liked Jackie!! She was so cool...I wish my mum would go on DOND to pay for me to go to uni. For what it's worth I'd have done exactly the same as her, and I'm really glad the Banker didn't stupdily inflate the offer and Noel didn't do the hypothetical swap so it could still be a TPW. I just wish she'd saved Anne-Marie to the end and had the nightmare final two!

Oh, and she gets to be in a club with Pat G!! That would be the best thing ever!

I liked that game, Jackie seemed very nice. I could believe that last offer, it wasn't inflated. Well done!

Did we find out what was in the box Jackie sent to the Banker at the beginning?

The Banker said something about having been drinking port, so presumably it was the same as what was in Noel's.

you are right in a way, jason.... I mean, take Paul H for example. JUST because the banker was "Afraid of him"[WHAT??!! hes a man for gods sake] he gets an opeinign offer of £17.5k after removing four reds and 1 blue in his opening round. WHY? And even Jackie's £8.5k opening offer was double what it should have been. But for the blue with £75k/£100k, i agree - Susan was offered £42k with what, 50p and £100,000 left?

but no-one should get exactly the same offer every single time a blue and £75k are left.
