Philip's game today.

Noel says there is a wonderful atmosphere in the studio at the moment as The Banker is trying to cause a battle of the wings!! He runs through some of the occupations of the contestants and leaves it up to us to decide the best wing...

Philip has box 15 today and is greated by a very lively audience. Noel welcomes his best mate to the pound table! :P Philip works for a security firm, and tells Noel he would love to win enough to set up his own business. Philip has no pics to show us, he says they are in his head as he doesn't want any distractions while playing his game. He has a few special numbers that he will leave until the end...

Here we go...

Grahame has had £250,000 and £100,000 in the past two shows. Terminator alert for Noel?

It's about time us English celebrated our day rather than keep promoting St Patrick's day

The Banker says hello to the west wing, and describes them as a quality wing. Newbie Lynn gets an early introduction and an apology from Noel for being put on the east wing!! Noel says he went out for a drink at the weekend with his best mate Phil and they were mixed up as twins!! Noel gets out a couple hats that have "Noel's best mate" and "Phil's best mate" written on them!! :-D

Banker offers

£9,000

Oh, I know. It's just one of those days which people tend to forget, isn't it? As soon as I realised, I thought "is there a player called George?" - surely they would have played!

9 grand on that opening round was ridiculously high! If he hits something low here, the resulting offer would be walking money for me I imagine, with 2 of the top 4 gone! :)

And is anyone else finding this embarrasing with the bst friend stuff?

It's actually growing in popularity as the countries of Great Britain all want their identities back. (and rightly so in my opinion) I've been in an England shirt all day.

Very embarrassing.

Hope we aren't going to see him shimmying like that for the rest of the programme!

And I thought 9K was way too high an offer too.

Good moment for an all blue round says Noel. The Banker says there is something in the air at the moment, and wonders if there is something in the contestants who wear hats at the pound table. He is convinced Philip will play all the way til the end...

Banker offers

£19,000
