Ah wow, what a *beeping* brilliant game, best for ages and ages!! Also it was the first time I've had shivers down my spine just before his box was opened!

Barry is an absolute legend!

HURRAH!!! Absolute legend and a brilliant game...I'd definitely have taken the £26k but I'm so pleased he recovered after turning that down and taking out the £250k. If only because had he won the £1k, I think his daughter might actually have killed him...

Best game in ages - well done Barry!!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Well done Barry, that was most definately the best game in ages. It's been SO long since someone has the GUTS to go for it and actually win big! So glad it paid of for you, and you didn't lie like Steven, who also had box 8 and £50,000. :D

WELL DONE AND ENJOY THE MONEY!

That reminded me a bit of Julian's game actually...great character No Dealing a generous offer with £250k and another Power Five with eight boxes left, taking out the £250k and then chasing after the other one...thankfully, unlike Julian he actually got it!

Also, I think that game showed how important the colouring of the boxes can be...I suspect he might not have been as quick to gamble if the £1,000 had been £750!

I kinda knew that either he was going to win big or win small, given how Maltus kept mentioning him in the commentaries for his first few shows, and when someone said on this forum that they'd heard a spoiler about his game which suggested that it'd be interesting, but eh, I can't really complain...at the fourth offer I'd even convinced myself that he was gonna win £250k, then when that went I thought he'd win 1p, and when that went, I knew it had to be a £50,000 win!

Saj and Hilary have been waiting a *heck* of a long time for someone to join their £50,000-by-opening-the-box club, and now we have member number 3. Really great courage right until the end, would have been so so painful had he dealt beforehand or swapped. Well done, Barry!

A cracking game - the best in ages. An entertaining and genuinely decent guy and good to see somebody with a bit of guts to go for the big money and win. He kept the faith when the £250,000 went and didn't bottle it at the end.

After all the dreadful cop-outs we've had over the last month or so at last someone with a bit of spine.

Well done Barry. You are a legend!

I don't know whether to make a space for you on my singature, Barry. You would be my first male member, and the first that I despised on the wings but loved during the game!

The game reminded me of Chantelle's. A big character, intent of going to the end, having a pretty strong board that lost its spark towards the end, taking a big gamble at the end and winning the big money!
