Jack's game today.

Noel talks about Bindya's game yesterday and how the banker used his £26,000 offer to get her to deal early.

There's a month gap in recording terms between yesterday's and today's games (due to their Christmas filming break)... has anyone noticed any players, etc. looking different?

Jack has box 15 today. Jack is a retired head teacher from Lancashire, he has his wife Olive in the audience with him today and we learn they have been married for 50 years :D His lucky number is 22, he says it has figured in his life for lots of events, he unsure which way he should use the number though. Jack says he is always careful with other peoples money but with his own money he is prepared to gamble.

Here we go...

Is anyone else watching this on Channel 4 analogue? The sound seems a bit odd... a bit bitty in places, and it seems to be out of synchronisation at times. :? It was a bit like this towards the end of DOND yesterday as well... not a major problem, but it's a bit odd... and it varies. :?

The swap is offered because of Jack's comments about box 22 and that the number has played a part in his life. Noel asks his wife Olive what he should do, she says he should SWAP, Jack says that there is no pressure there now is there!!! :-D

Jack says

SWAP

Jack now has box 22

I was thinking Jack hadn't been on that long, but actually he's done 20 shows. :?

I'd normally say a first offer swap is pointless, but Jack did rather set hismelf up for it by talking about 22 being his lucky number.

Ugh... I have a bad feeling that swap wasn't a clever thing to do.

I hope Jack turns it around though... He seems like a really nice guy.
