For once, I think it is a bit more justified.

Yeah, I think it was more justified and he helped her decide to Deal with the comment about how £26,000 could get her there in style. It was only a small nag but I think as Noel said it was a disaster in gameplay terms.

Noel being a bit more restrained today - but today was a missed opportunity, and a fairly conservative early deal, in my honest opinion.

Such a shame that she dealt when she did. Isn't it the first of the power five we've seen in awhile?

Nevertheless it is enough to go to Canada as she wanted, so not so much of a failure.

I don't agree, of the 10 permutations that the proveout
could have gone, about 6 of them would have seen the
offer reduced, and given her objectives to help her family
£26,000 would have been too much to risk.

I guess now she can blame her husband

I wish she'd have gone on, but STILL £26,000 is an amazing amount! Well done on an exciting game, Bindya! :D

But only three of those permutations would see the offer lowered by a considerable amount, which I think is a calculated risk.

My point really was that Noel was more entitled to highlight 'what might have been' today, and he was more restrained in his criticism, concentrating on the 'trap offer' rather than her husband's message.

I don't think this game is about being greedy, it's about realising dreams and Bindya did just that. So glad your dream will come true and sorry that Box 22 had the biggy in it again. Congratulations :D

Wow, I think I'd actually have gone to the end in that game, which is unusual for me...it was a cautious Deal, but Bindya was awesome and I'm really glad she got a good amount.

bindiya is awesome but i screamed at the TV when she dealt! 2 amounts lower and 3 higher
i would've gone to the end because you have a 3 in 5 chance of beating the offer..thats a good chance.

The whole thing about the Banker writing his prediction down was a load of rubbish. Do they think we're stupid enough to actually believe that he knew what was in that envelope?

Anyway, I think I would have gone on at £26,000 as there was 3 sums on the board higher but it was the right time to deal for her and will get her to Canada. And Noel didn't rub it in as much which was a pleasant surprise.

Welldone Bindya, but you can call me Geoff! Enjoy the money! :D

I agree. At the beginning of the game, Noel was writing down what the banker was saying in the lop left corner of the page. However in the end when he showed what was written down, it was in the centre of the page.

Ooh, if only she'd have not gone with the envelope! What a cool contestant, shame she didn't get that £75k, but £26k's still a great sum of money and it'll help her f-f-f-fulfill her dream! A great end to the 2006-filmed shows, well done Bindya/Geoff/Jeff!

I don't think the banker knew what was in the envelope but it was a pretty good guess that the envelope would have some advice and it would hardly have "NO DEAL" in. I think what her husband was saying is that if she wasn't sure whether to go on, then she should deal, which is always good advice.

Maybe if she hadn't had something she needed the money for, she may have gone on but I can't blame her for taking the £26K.
