Jeff's game today.

Thanks for the help with the commentary again yesterday everyone :D

I have discovered that the combination of a Cat, a drink, and a laptop do not mix together too well!!!! :-D Anyway after some frantic drying and replacing of harddrive we are back up and running :D

Noel runs through the past 2 games and the disasterous starts of those games. Noel encourages the contestants to play with courage to beat the banker, and also talks about the £250,000 still being absent from the pound table.

*Zeddie's obligatory "This game has been spoiled for me" post*

I hope it has, then I can stop fussing over the fact that a game in the near future has been spoiled for me. >_>

Anyway, Jeff is lolworthy.

Jeff 'Break a Leg' has box 3 today - Did they save this for Wakey's return from holiday

Jeff is a toastmaster, and he reveals he is not adverse to gambling so could provide an interesting battle with the banker.

Jeff has a few pics of his 50th birthday, he also has his son with him who has travelled over from Australia.

Here we go......

Jeff says it's an interesting start and he wants to end up with £100,000 and £250,000 remaining and those values are still in play. The banker says he considers Jeff to be the most commited gambler to date, and wishes Jeff to break BOTH legs!!!!

Banker offers

£10,000 :D

Very nice offer with those amounts being knocked out, but probably that high as the banker knows that Jeff being a gambler will not deal. Jeff asks for a sweep and there are all NO DEALS apart from one DEAL :P

Jeff says

NO DEAL

Here come the stats.

Today is show 285. 82 shows since the £250k was on the table (show 202), from show 203-284, and 60 shows longer than normal.

A nice offer with a below average start, but for a gambler, too early to deal. :)

17 boxes left

Average: £25,333
Offer: £10,000
Offer (%): 39.47

2 box median: £7,500
Fair deal: £7,910

Risk of collapse: 49%

Hahahaha, I love that they're all saying "Break a leg"....and that Elizabeth nearly forgot to say it. "You're a true gent Jeff, and I hope it's blue....oh, and break a leg".

That offer was massive, though - for ages the highest ever opening offer was £9k, and now Jeff's getting £10k after a crap start like that.

Not box 3

On past form, the highest it's had is £75,000, and the highest payout with box 3 was £47,000 with Trevor and we have had 2 1p winners plus another 1p box but it wasn't won (Audrey)
