We get to see the new board with the £500,000.

We also get to see the contestants back at the hotel hearing the news that they will be playing for the £500,000. Noel appears on a screen and tells the contestants that they get the chance to choose the player for tonight.

Tonights player is

WRIGHTY

Watched parts of the first show earlier today with the sound off. Looked like a crazy game!

I note that there's Christmas decorations in the hotel, which is different. :P

Here goes, good luck Wrighty. Looks like the offers are going to be huge if the £500,000 stays in play.

22 boxes left

Average: £47,758

2 box median: £10,004
Fair deal: £15,024

Risk of collapse: 39%

Noel points out the BIG money available for us tonight and also asks Wrighty to take off his party hat :P

Wrighty asks for lots of noise for his game.

Noel calls a break before the game starts...

The £500,000 has a 1/22 shot of appearing there, but it will be unfortunate if it does make it into the box for Endemol, or they will be accused of 'FIX'.

Ouch, shame about that end. Still, we can expect an offer of around £10,000 plus, due to the big prize.

It's an excellant start says Wrighty. Noel asks the banker what was going through his mind when deciding to offer £500,000, he says the answer was at the bottom of a fine bottle of claret :P

Banker offers

£24

Noel then says thousand pounds!!!

offer is

£24,000

With a normal board, with an average first round, the player would expect to lose nearly £100,000 from the board. To lose just £50,000 with this board is excellent.

Wow. £24,000. I can see why, but it is tempting to play on.

17 boxes left

Average: £58,818
Offer: £24,000
Offer (%): 40.80

2 box median: £10,250
Fair deal: £20,598

Risk of collapse: 33%
