I was surprised it wasn't spoilt myself, Gaz's wasn't spoilt either I don't think.

Anyone got any pics?

Not that the mega drought has anything to do with it, of course.

Oh, and what a fantastic game! What with the ease that Claudine appeared to reject the £44,031 offer, it was clear that The Banker would have to offer six figures (or very close to it) to stop her opening her box there. It's a shame that she didn't ultimately go for the big prize, but it's still a great result.

WOW! (Thats for Claudine) WOW!! (That is for the game) I have been planning a big speech since the show ended, well here goes. That is definatley on of the best if not the best games for a long time, I mean it beats Brian's for me. I am really surprised that this game was not spoiled or leaked. Well done on winning £107,031 Claudine. I was assuming the £250k was not on the table, and when it was there I was shocked to see it there. :D
I loved you and I am going to miss you totally, I am sure Dan is glad they replaced Brian with a woman! :D

Well done Claudine and enjoy £107,031 :D

Wow, that was amazing, I'm still shaking with excitement!! Just think if she'd taken the first round swap though

I'd have actually gone with the £44,031 though!

Bascially if I won £107,031 (don't forget the 31 - that makes it even cooler! ;) ) I don't think I'd give two hoots what amount was in my box, it's a life-changing amount. I'd be hundereds of times more upset at no-dealing the £107,031 and only winning the £10k than I would as dealing and having the £250k - simply becuase a 6-figure win is amazing whatever (I admit not quite as amazing as winning the QM, but very close), but £10k is just a boring, mediocre, below the average winnings amount. But if the £50k had remained as back-up......

She was a fantastic contestant as well - the highest winners (and indeed, some who have gone for it and it not paid off) have had an aura about them which I find hard to define. Claudine, Jennifer, Gaz, Lance, Kirsty. Germaine, Lynne, Morris, Saj etc all had it. Ingerlise and Donna definitely didn't!

I also liked the fact that there was doubt that she might have swapped at the end (I'm 90% sure she wouldn't have, but you never know)- in which case I'm happier that she took the deal!

WOW!!!! :-D

Gaz's game wasn't spoilt really, in the sense that in the spoilers thread, it said to expect a very big win on Thursday 4th May - and it came two days earlier than planned - then some were expecting another huge win on that day even after Gaz's game!

Well done Claudine! What a great and exciting game and a fantastic result (yeah you had the £250k but hey you've got over £100k). Personally I was thinking that you might deal at the £44k (even I might of) offer and I had this horrible felling that we'd get the bad round which usually seems to follow an offer like that. But I can totally understand the deal of £107,031 as £10,000 was too big a drop and I think the majority of people would of dealt (again I most probably would of). However with such a big family how long will that money last :)

Who cares? WHO CARES? SHE HAD THE BLOODY £250,000 AND SHE BLEW IT. That's why we should all care. And she also took Gaz of the number 2 spot. DARN.

She never blew anything, someone just said her fave box was the other box so she probably would have swapped and won 10k

Who says she would have been offered the swap?

She blew £142,969, which would get me crying. But I wouldn't be because I would have no dealed.

Blewing £142,000 has to be put into perspective. If you blow that amount of money and end up with nothing then that's a bad decision but if you win over £100,000 and blow £142,000 then you've still got £100,000.

The only similar scenario I can think of is on Millioniare. If you were in the chair on £125,000, and had taken a 50/50 but had no idea on the right answer, would you gamble £93,000 to win £125,000 - because very few people have done that.

Wow, the legendary Gaz posts! They should film a spin-off sitcom of you, Claudine, and Jennifer Miller living in a mansion, with occasional appearances from Lance, Germaine, Kirsty, Lynne, and the 1p caravan.

The situation with More4 is a bit complicated...this week, the evening repeats were of that day's episode (as usual), and the morning repeats were of episodes this time last week. But as there are no repeats at the weekend save for a classic (December 2005) episode on Sunday, the morning repeats get further and further behind, meaning today's game won't be shown until 12:15pm on Boxing Day. Still, though, at least it will eventually be shown!

I love Claudine! That was the best game we've had in ages! I was not expecting that at all and I am so glad it didn't get spoiled or leaked, because I don't think it would have been so tense if I'd known beforehand. I was really excited when GK opened his box and revealed the £750, I was so so pleased for her and to no deal at £44,031 took some guts, however I was praying for her to deal at £107,031 and I'm so glad she did. I didn’t want to see her go away with £10,000.

That game had me on the edge of my seat! Welldone Claudine, you deserved every penny! :D
