That gets a few groans and Jim goes to his mate for advice, he applies Mally's law that Jim's box can't have the £20,000 as it's been on the table so many times lately.

The banker calls back and GUARANTEES a swap if Jim plays on

Jim says

NO DEAL

No way, £250 is better than £750.

If he asked me, I would play on. With so many games recently where the larger amount of the two left is in the player's box, it encourages the player to play on, and winning an extra £14,000 is better than losing £5,750.

Jim's swapped. Good luck!

2 boxes left

Average: £10,125
Offer: £6,000 (highest £14,500)
Offer (%): 58.23 (highest 74.43)

Fair deal: £6,181

The banker calls back and asks if he can change his mind!!! Noel says NO and so the banker offers the swap.

Jim takes the swap and Noel collects box 17 and places it in front of Jim

Can the £20,000 be here again?

Noel opens box 17 and reveals £250   :(

Box 19 contains the £20,000

Jim says he has had a great time, but it looks as though he will be doing a lot more overtime......

Aww, I love Jim! I never before realised how hot he is. Hammondstar likes him....

Unlucky game, I really wanted the 20k at the end. He seemed such a sweet guy. Hope he enjoys the cash anyway :-)

2 has £10,000, won.

£1,000 in 1, and £3,000 in 3, which had the lid nearly taken off because the seal stuck hard on that part.

all the unlucky games are just like that. i think the audience member is told prior to the show that he/she will be selected and given a number to pick. seems the obvious way to do it

No *beep*, but they both swapped away a large sum for something a lot smaller.

I can't believe the £20,000 has come to the table again!
