Did Noel even mention that Maragret also went to the end and collected £20,000?

He mentioned about it being there twice in a row... but nothing about Margaret. Odd, considering this show was recorded onyl a few hours after Margaret's, I think... it's not as if Noel could forget it.

Really pleased for Ian, he seems like a top bloke! Amazing to get two days running of courageous contestants getting into the 20K box club! :D

How many contestants have won £20,000 now (dealers included)?

I wonder if the viewer who won £50,000 today has applied to be on
Deal Or No Deal as a contestant, and should their application be allowed!? :-D

Thoroughly enjoyed Ian's game; I thought he was a great fella on the wings (especially the box opening in Steve's game) and his game didn't disappoint. :-D

I too found it a bit odd Noel didn't directly mention Margaret's name, but then again, I suppose the occasional snippet of information may be lost during the editing process...

Yay, what a legend!! I love Deal or No Deal at the moment...two fantastic endings in a row. That's the second time that two consecutive players have won the same amount, and funnily enough, the first time it happened was also with a player from W07 followed by one from W11 - Pat and Mark at the start of October.

Noel does a "Did I say break" breakline... The first good one in ages...

YAY, I whooped when he said it!!! WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! :-D :P

Here it is in its full glory:

Noel - Alright, Ned. This is really, really important. He (The Banker) said on the last call that you were like a fish that was running out of energy, you were on the line and that you would give in. Does the line, incidentally, ever break?
Ian - Not where I'm catching them, no.
Noel - Oh, right. Did I say break?

BTW, great game!!! It's funny to have TWO players in a row no deal all the way and then win £20,000.

Yeah, Endemol really got thrashed today! £70,000 was withdrawn from Endemols safekeep today, but it still doesn't beat the £140,000 that they had to pay out on David J's game!

Well done to Ian - he was/is very smiley...you could say he had a big breaming smile, no trout pout! Bet the banker felt carp after handing out £70K in total, spect he muttered pollocks when box 2 had the £50K in it.

(I know, I know....I'm very ashamed  )

Next you'll be saying the Independent Ajudicator doesn't exist!

That seems like a boring job by the way - you can't even enjoy the prog cos you know what's in each box ;)

If that was my job I'd be tempted to put things in the box for a laugh!

I can't imagine the STATE you would be in if you won the £50,000. If the winner was standing next to you and you had a gun, I wouldn't want to imagine what would happen

Fantastic game for Ian! :D Nice to see more players going to the end and it paying off for them (even if it is the £20,000 again!)! :D

That was brilliant! I had loads of bad omens in that game, thinking he was going to join the 1p club:

Box 14's crap record at the table.
When Box 14 last contained 1p at the table (Trevor's game), box 1 contained the £250,000, like yesterday.
Ian was a fisherman - Fadil was also a fisherman and there were loads of fish jokes in his game as well.
Ian's game followed a similar pattern to Fadil's - there was one huge box in every round, with Ian it went R1 - £250,000, R2 - £35,000, R3 - £75,000, R4 - £100,000, R5 - £50,000. I was expecting the £20k to go in R6!

It's worrying that I can remember all this! :-D

I also like the fact that there was no swap offered - I think the players should be given the doubt of whether they will be offered it or not, to give some unpredictability!

But great game, great courage showed, well done Ian!!!
