7 - £250 Newbie John gets a nice welcome from Noel and he delivers a nice value :D

Margaret says 'court rise' and all the pilgrims stand for the break :P

I was waiting for the 'Court Rise' bit! Glad they managed to get that in. Very entertaining. Slightly more jovial than your average Magistrates' Court, though... :-D

No I wasn't there, I just have experience of attending Magistrates Courts (as a spectator Law student) and thought the 'Court rise' bit would be too good an opportunity to miss in this game.

That was a shame says Margaret, the banker says he's not worried anymore! He has reached his verdict and it's a short sentence - STICK

Banker offers

THE BOARD AFTER ROUND FOUR:

£5
£10
£750

£1000
£15000
£20000
£35000
£75000

Margaret has already pretty much said she doesn't want the money, and with the £250K going, it's just as well she has that attitude. The banker sticks at £9000. That is very generous in the circumstances.

It would have been too much to ask for all of the amounts to stay intact, but even with the loss of the £250,000, the board is still strong.

Offer: £9,000 (highest £20,000)
Offer (%): 49.04 (highest 50.67)

2 box median: £14,000
Fair deal: £9,733

Highest future average: £19,277 (5 boxes left)
Risk of collapse: 21%

THE BOARD AFTER ROUND FIVE:

£10
£750

£1000
£15000
£20000

I had my suspicion that she should have taken the offer of £20K at round two, and short of going to the end and opening her box, it looks like I was right... :(

I think 20k was too low for her board at the time - 25k-30k would have been more tempting.
