What a wonderful game to celebrate the 300th show. Excellent deal at the perfect time and an unquestionable overall player victory.

Well done Helen!

Hahaha...I was about to write a big long post in defence of Helen, but seeing as she denied us the first ever 50p game (and she'd almost certainly have won it if she'd gone on, given the way the game went afterwards!), I don't think I'll bother.

Seriously, though, I didn't mind her at all...bit loud and OTT, yes, but I just thought she was nervous and emotional. I did feel a bit uncomfortable during the game, because I was dreading how she'd react if it all went wrong...but thankfully, it didn't!

Well done Helen on 21K! With only two large amounts left when you dealt and a lot of low numbers, it was the right deal.

What a... bizarre game

Good deal at £21,000 though!

How many people's thoughts went straight to wakey when Ian opened Box 4 and revealed the £250,000?! ;):D

Very strange atmosphere, very strange player, I think. Not my favourite game.

Nevertheless, all credit to Helen on a resounding victory over the banker - well overdue!

Box 4's run is quite incredible at the moment. Have to admit, it is growing on me :?

I only got in to watch the 2nd half of the game, so didn't see what happened at the beginning. I didn't notice too odd a feel to the game, except she seemed very emotional.

Any chance of the clip being uploaded to YouTube if anyone has it?

I just thought...none of the contestants/Noel are wearing poppies this year, are they? I remember watching the More 4 repeats, they all had them on in the shows leading up to Remembrance Day...wonder why they haven't bothered this year.

I still can't work out if she was told to do that as a 'It's the 300th show, so lets do a funny thing!' or if she's just like that anyway. I will find out. Plus I thought her hair was way to long for someone of her age :?

I didn't like her at all, as you can all probably tell...

Strange. I did wonder if it was scripted and for a minute I thought they might actually choose someone else. But I don't want to be negative who knows if she acted a bit or they edited it like that. Well done on the £21,000 grand and for playing the game perfectly. Though I was wondering what would of happened if she went on to have the £250,000 would she of broke down completely?

Well, all I have to say about that is...ODD!

She dealt exactly when I would have in that game, the board was starting to look VERY dangerous indeed, one round could have ruined it all...and it did!

But she had me cringing! This game brings the "Deserving" playes thread in me! Whle Helen deserved her £21k and to beat the banker as much as anyone else, I actually wanted her to beat the banker possibly leess than any other contestant I've seen (sorry if that offends anyone, I just couldn't stand her!).

I'd have rather that game happened to someone who went away with peanuts but took a good attitude towards it, such as Nick, Trevor, £1 John or Emi!

I found that quite uncomfortable viewing early on (I actually felt myself looking away from the TV... :? ) but I'm inclined to believe it was just nerves rather than anything malicious or disrespectful on Helen's part.

Still, perfect deal at the right time so I guess she must have had some idea of what she was doing!
