Not a great start to the week.

Poor Barbara she looked really upset at the end, she seemed like a very nice person as well. :(

I think she was just very unlucky - while both the previous offers were worth considering, I don't think she was greedy to have continued. Just bad luck...

Terrible luck there. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I'd have been very tempted to go on with that £8500 offer too. It was quite mean and unnecessrily low. She wasn't reckless or greedy and had terrible luck with those last three boxes opening all three largest ones. The odds would have been against it.

Very unlucky, but a good game. A nice lady who deserved more.

Barbara was one of loveliest contestants of the 22 and although I knew her result, watching it today was very upsetting. She didnt deserve that

I was gutted; that was the lowest I felt while filming (much more so than Jim's game - not that I wasn't upset for him).

She was a lovely lady who deserved more - she understood the 30% chance of disaster there and took the risk anyway.

In all honesty I don't think £8,500 would have changed her life [in the cliched sense] so she was right to go on - but nonetheless it was a very brave call.

Well the Banker pretty much ensured she played on after dropping the £11,500 to £8,500 with the two big reds and three blues still in play. I got the impression that if he'd increased the £11,500 ever so slightly to even something like £15,000 she would have likely dealt, but he dropped it somewhat unfairly, forced her to play on and the game disintegrated.

Two poor results in a row, but unlike the Jim game where he annoyed me to the point of not caring how much he left with, I feel sorry for Barbara. Hopefully tomorrow's contestant will win a red amount at least.

I was expecting a better offer than that £8,500, given the two big numbers that were still there. When that came up, the only words in my head were IT'S A TRAP!, and a rather malicious one at that...

The silence that followed said everything.

Someone better get revenge.
