Box 12 has the £250

Adam says he is disappointed but happy with the £9,000

Heh, I actually knew what was going to happen in this one from early on...I saw someone I know in the audience, and he'd told me what happened in the game he went to see. Shame it could have been more, but I really liked Adam and I'm glad he got a decent amount to get what he wanted.

Really hope we can get past the destructive opening rounds in future games, there's been so many recently :(

Well done Adam for the £9,000. I must admit I was shocked when he dealt especially after Emi's comment (I think it was Emi :? ) when she said he was a 'no dealer' all the way!

Loved the banter about Matt and Adam as well

P.S Why on earth are there two threads about the same game :? Surely everyone knows when Kes is online he does the commentary.

Aw - I groaned when Adam's name came up at the start, but I actually really like him! Much better than I was expecting. Still a relatively early player, though, given that there are a few who've been there longer - I can't believe that Sally's replacement is playing already!

And if Noel's going to go on about the £250k at the start of every show, I'm going to have to start tuning in five minutes late...I hate Noel at the moment.

He's getting his stats wrong again as well. He had them printed on a card, and made a very obvious point of reading from it, but he still said it was 46 shows since the £250k was on the table. On Saturday, he said it was 45, and yesterday he said it was 46 and today he said it was 46. Can his stat man not count anymore? It's47! And for tomorrow's show, it'll be 48.

According to your table, Adam's show was the first to be recorded on a new recording day, 18th May to be exact. Maybe Noel just got confused.

Having just been on the Yate Town FC website ( :? ), he is Adam Sims and he's 25. I have a feeling I might have seen him play actually. They mentioned on the show that he was once a professional with Southampton and I'm sure the name rings a bell from a pre-season friendly that my team (Bognor Regis Town FC) played a few years back. Must have been 1999, 2000 ish. I'll see if I can dig out the team sheet when I'm next at my parents.

Agree with Cazzie, it's pointless having two commentaries. It's Kestral's site, he does the commentary (unless he's away) - if someone wants to provide an alternative commentary then I'm sure there are plenty of other Deal or No Deal sites that would welcome them! :-D

I reckon I'd have dealt that £9,000 as well, the banker did seem generous tonight! £9k was about what I would have expected on a £75k/20k/three blues last five to be honest, and not his board at the round of 8, indeed I expected the £7k from the previous round significant safety nets. Indeed I said DEAL as soon as the offer came up, especially for someone who needed the money. £17k for the deal of 5 was WAY over the odds but he had to significantly increase it from £9k given the round he'd just had, and personalising it as well was a nice touch.

He went back to his mean old self for the deal-of two though - Nick M was offered very nearly double that with the same two boxes - bizarre!

We are overdue a big five-figure win though, without a doubt, and isn't it funny that £75k nearly always seems to be the last surviving big red?
