Wow, I wish I hadn't already known the outcome of that one...that would have been the most exciting finish ever! I feel sorry for James, obviously, but he must have known the risks involved when he gave up his job to be on the show. (Not a decision for which I'd blame him - I think I'd probably do the same, unless I was in a really amazing and unique job at the time.)

Noel did my head in, though (sorry Suezan!) - how many times did he mention James giving up his job?? You could tell he didn't really approve...

Oh. Dear. Me.

If I had been my namesake, I would be pretty suicidal after that, I hope he ended up with a good job, and fast!

We wait until the fifth week until our first proper trainwreck, and then we get two in three days! I'm fascinated to know the figure he wrote in the book, don't think it was revealed unless I missed it. £17,600 would have done all sorts for him!

And did I see 1p Nick in the audience in the corner there?

I swear I saw an old woman in the audience who was fast asleep.

Very, very unlucky game for James. Especially as the box that had £75,000 on the previous show turned out to have £75,000 today too. And to think his first two boxes were 1p and 50p!
