Well OK he couldn't help being tall but surely the tattoos, shaved head, facial hair etc. are his own choice, unlike some other physical features - if he didn't want to look "scary" he didn't have to!

A bit like if you don't want people to think you look like a chav then you don't wear a Burberry baseball cap...
