The only way the button would've helped them is if they kept it to 5 box and then dealt the higher offer (£11,000 to £13,000) they may have gotten with it in play.

A £10k win is a good result considering they failed to win the offer button and the holiday not once but twice, and had six blues at 8-box.

If they'd picked the other box at the start, the only difference could have been a higher 5-box offer (after the banker had seen what was inside).
