This is like a mirror of Shirley's game with 11 boxes, the banker again underestimating the strength of the board.

The odds of losing 2 of the top 4 this round is 25%, so it wasn't that unlikely to happen. What would be unlikely is losing 3 of the 4, around 2.4%.
