The Banker is clearly forcing him to open the box. :smt011 That would be arguable either way IF £10,000 was replaced with £5,000

Now, will he chase the losses from the No Deal he probably shouldn't have made, or cut his losses from it?

£750 is still decent money. I'd keep going.

Peter says he's come this far, and he thinks he has a red; but why? His aunt comes down. Peter never thought he'd get this far, and £750 is still good. George says Peter, like Vicky yesterday, has two shots at Box 23. Peter says he could buy Box 23 with £750. Noel says Peter could end up with £20,000. Peter says £750 is still £750.

Peter says:

NO DEAL

Either the Banker is convinced he's cutting his losses or he wants to keep alive the possibility of a mistaken No Deal being rewarded. In olden days of Deal, it was definitely the latter...

Pilgrim of the day John brings Box 23 to the table.

Peter says:

DEAL to Box 23.

He gives back the £750.

Peter wonders why he's in LIVE play at the end of the game!

Noel reveals NOTHING in Box 23. :(

Peter wins nothing! He instantly wells up. :( He says he should have dealt. Out come the others to console him. Noel doesn't know what to say, and very quietly brings the show to a close.

Well that was painful although cant say I wouldn't have gambled my 5 box deal for box 23 and ended up with the same result.

Any positivity from yesterday's game completely wiped out

The Banker pretty much forced him on. £2,375 was a shocking offer. I'd understand it if it was 1p but not £750.

And oh dear, that was a horrible ending.

That's yesterday cancelled out and then some. Ouch, and from a player who really regretted it!

Weird ending, but not surprising given the outcome :(

Players practically surrounding Peter and Edmondo quickly ending the show, hate to think what it must have actually been like in the studio to watch that unfold :(

Wretched month for payouts, hopefully tomorrow's player will salvage some pride to end the month
